Election Mania

Is that what this country comes to now, throw a huge party, good music, empty great sounding promises that makes it sound like you’re in charge and forget all else? The vanity of my country saddens me.

While everyone else parties hearty I wait to hear what we all need to hear and it doesn’t come. I enjoyed the music and the fan fare that I’m sure everyone else did, but I was dismayed to see so many people so willing to be led by their noses rather than to think for themselves. Yet while during the Obama Convention I wonder how many people actually noticed the little side party going on with fancy expensive foods and drinks while everyone else had to pay $7.00 just to get one hot dog. Or if anyone realized some news media footage was being taken by ABC’s special investigative reporter Bryan Ross along with a quote from lady Pelosi herself. Or that one news photographer from ABC had actually been arrested for taking pictures of their grand fancy feast during the Convention for those that reportedly contributed $100,000.00 or more. Yet when I asked on my I-report for these men to hold a fund raiser for the people suffering from Gustav I got slammed with questions about “what would you have them do?” Well for one if they can generate $100,000.00 per how ever many people were there at that private party, why can’t they put their money where their mouth is and send some much needed money to the Red Cross or to the heads of the States for their people? After all Senator Obama refused to vote yes or no on controversial issues for FEAR he would loose votes.

Isn’t it amazing how there was not one bit of trouble during the DNC, but all of the loud mouths that attended the DNC couldn’t extend the same courtesy to the RNC? Could it have been that the elaborate jail facility like those Senator Obama complained about actually worked as a deterrent, yet the RNC didn’t erect that monstrosity for their own Convention, perhaps they should have? I simply couldn’t believe the audacity of that woman in putrid pink, what was it a night gown? Anyway, she was a real work of art that would best have been left on the hanger where ever she bought that piece of junk from. Not one Republican disturbed the DNC, but not so said for the Democrats, so how could chaos run a Nation?

I’m so sick and tired of people accusing the Republicans of using fear to run things and Senator Obama the only fear I’ve seen is within you! You were afraid to make a stand on 129 controversial issues and you were afraid to vote for the Immigration Reform Bill that you helped to create all for FEAR of loosing votes. You like your DO Nothing Democratic Congress care more about votes for your presidency than you do about actually helping your people you want to vote for you. I’m just wondering when or even if the American people will ever come out from under your spell before it’s too late. I guarantee you all that when that huge magic bubble bursts and you all start complaining because things didn’t turn out the way you let yourselves be led to believe they would, I will be among the first to tell you all to shut up and make do with your choice because not one person out there is using their brain to actually figure it all up and if you did the first words out of your mouths would be NO WAY!

Enough about the all talk do nothing Democratic leadership elect, now for the status-quo talk a little here, do a little there and smile with a nod Republican Party. While you may have the experience and the training you have little real exposure to the real life people of America. Stop looking down your noses at the rest of the American people and start taking better care of them. Who works your factories, mills, farms, department stores, grocery stores, cleans your houses, fixes your electronics, dry-cleans your stuff, etc. Sure some of it can be done with robotics but you still need someone to fix them. You still need human beings to run your monster machines as well as to repair them. A machines sensor is no match for the actual touch of a human being. While you are all fortunate enough to get great to excellent educations and the best medical usually available the rest of us that are used as gunny pigs for the medical fields to give you all this high grade medical affordability needs medical too. And don’t even try to deny that many of us out here have actually been used as gunny pigs to see what will and will not work or how certain medications will react to others in the medical field.

The worse part is you people can’t even protect us from other countries and nations wanting to harm us all. Oh I’m not talking out of some imagination folks what I am saying is all too real and there are even some still alive in Oklahoma with proof of what was done to them. I was in the San Fernando Valley in the nineteen sixties when a mushroom cloud sat over us for a time full of radioactivity and somewhere there is documentation of it, buried though it is. I was a young child at the time and not many knew what that cloud was for many years. Did it do something to us? I think only God really knows, but not much accurate documentation was ever kept on any of us and it was kept a secret for so many years that most people wouldn’t ever stop to think about the many illnesses and what might have been the real cause of them; meanwhile all of you just go on your merry ways.

But in all of both parties many wonderfully articulated speeches designed to win the hearts and specifically the minds of those that hear them, not once have I heard any of you talk about the security measures close to home such as our borders. I know we can expect absolutely nothing out of Senator Obama, he’s already stated when asked about sending the illegal immigrants home, “that isn’t going to happen.” So I guess we can assume Senator Obama intends for the USA to be over run with people our lands just can’t handle. As for Senator McCain who refuses to give a direct answer just about as much as Senator Obama does I think it’s safe to assume he intends to follow through with the plans for the open borders and a highway running right through from Mexico to Canada, in which case why don’t both of you senators make an obviously large portion of the people happy and legalize drugs, pornography, prostitution, and human slavery since it all moves through Mexico in it’s various parts and your going to open this Nation once so good, so upright, and so strong to all of that crap anyway. But know this if you do open up America to Mexico and Canada like that don’t expect too many decent people to be in your armed forces. Number one no decent person will want any family member here without them and number two even the military won’t be a safe place anymore.

While everyone else is under the Election Mania spell, I am still waiting to hear something close to a realistic resolve of the problems; anyone who thinks this can be done within four to five years is really living in a dream world because it took much more than eight years for this mess to happen, and yet the funniest part about this mess is that everyone is so eager to blame the Presidential parties! Guess what folks; it’s not their fault we American people got so caught up in our own vanity that we forgot that we were the ones in charge!

That’s right people we have always been in charge but it’s strange how most people who actually took Government classes in high school always seem to say “who do I contact?” or “What do I do?” I hated Government because the debates were not accurate and the debates seemed more like arguments than discussions. But even with my limited knowledge of the workings of Government I still knew that the best way to be heard is to constantly contact your local government officials. E-Mail them, send them letters, call them and don’t stop until the job gets done. If they continue to ignore you impeach them and put in someone that will know you mean business and listen to his or her people. That is how you get things done. If you are to lazy to do what needs to be done then you deserve whatever comes.

Well I’m sorry Senator Obama the last thing I would tell innocent people is to get a lawyer, much less refer to one as a savior because although I do like you Senator Obama, you are no mans savior. And I guess attorneys just can’t help themselves but to stretch the truth because that is what they are taught to do, and I suppose it makes for a good sounding case which is why actual criminals get lighter sentences but they can’t seem to be any good at helping the innocent because to an attorney no one is innocent. That is a fact that I have learned first hand. I certainly wouldn’t marry one because they can’t be anymore honest in relationships than they are in court so why would I trust one in charge of my country? I’m just so sorry that you are such a really good speaker that you have everyone suffering from your deletions of grandeur, everyone but me and maybe a hand full of others.

I’m sorry Senator McCain the last thing I want to see is an open highway from Mexico all the way through to Canada, nor do I want this anything but free, “Free Trade agreement” to continue destroying our own government. We need security and we need our jobs. We don’t want to be retrained! We want to work in fields we choose to work in not some field you government officials think we are suited for. This is a FREE country and until now it has remained so but now we have both parties in their own perspective ways telling us how to live our own lives. This is NOT what our Fore Fathers had in mind and it shouldn’t be this way.

In my opinion the only true change, real change is to not vote for either party and find another party that will really bring about the true meaning of true change. How long has it been since anyone outside of either party has been in office anyway? I can’t think of one time mentioned when neither party held office. That would truly be change. So that’s what I’ve done and will do come Election Day, I’m voting for true change and it will probably be with my new party the Independents. I’ll make up my mind after their Convention next week, but I know for a fact I don’t want either of the Normal parties and their lies. I hope you will join me in my quest for TRUE CHANGE through this election mania.
