Okay, the world is in a recession.  Well…for most some of us it is!  There are still those 30k+ earners but that is life and not everybody is feeling the pinch.  It might even be a good thing for some.  As a UK resident for a holiday I travel abroad, as do millions of others but maybe this year all will change and the tourism in Britain will boost giving those in danger with the bank manager a well earned break that won’t break the bank and have holiday home owners in the UK jumping for joy at the prospect of potential holiday tennants. 

Perhaps this is what the UK needs (well, apart from the rise in unemployment and people being impoverished) but a wee financial flurry.  We have a lot to offer tourists, landmarks, beautiful buildings, British culture.  Basically its just good weather we lack!  Negative stories that wave through the news perhaps dampen the holiday mood but lets hear it for the UK and celebrate what we have to offer instead of commiserating the lack of exotic land we’ll be seeing.
