Fake Terrorist Weapons and Actions

Look at the history.

Star Simpson, a sophomore at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology was taken into custody after with a circuit board measuring roughly 2 inches by 6 inches, with protruding wires, lights and a nine-volt battery on the back of a black, hooded sweatshirt. When arrested she said it was an art project.

There have been hundreds of attempts to get items on a plane that could help in a hijacking by people who one would not be considered a terrorist.

What is happening here? This is a multi-front movement to enable terrorists to once again take the skies to harm America. I am sure that at the minimum terrorists leaders are watching these events, looking for weaknesses in the security and they may even be orchestrating them.

Allow me to give you an example. In the spring of 1942 the American intelligence services had broken the Japanese Naval Code and were reading the messages to and from the Japanese fleets. But there were some words, particularly names of people and places that were unknown. The messages showed an attack was coming but the name of the place was unknown. Intelligence officers were sure it was either Wake or Midway but there was no way from the messages or fleet movements to tell for sure.

Midway island had an undersea cable to it, a secure communication line. A message was sent to the Midway Commander to send out a message, in the clear, i.e. not encrypted, saying the island’s desalination plant was broken. The commander did as directed. Within a day a message from Japanese Naval Headquarters to the fleet advised them that an American base with that name would likely be short on fresh water! The Japanese just told us where the attack would come! That information enabled better disposition of forces and search efforts – two things that contributed greatly to the victory at Midway. Seemingly innocent acts can break security.

For a terrorist attack to be successful several things have to come in focus at the same time. They have to get the people where they need to be, with the tools (weapons) they need and they need to not have anyone notice or get concerned until it is too late. If someone had gotten really curious about the men on these flights on 9/11 before they boarded, all of the attacks may have failed. Let’s face it, on 9/11 two of the attacks were successful resulting in over 2500 deaths and the destruction of two buildings worth billions of dollars. And the impact on our society was terrible.

You will say, “They hit the pentagon and all four planes crashed.” True. But two of the attacks failed, one miserably. And we need to learn why they failed. The planes that hit the towers took over 1200 lives each and resulted in billions of dollars of damage. Flight 77 hit the pentagon and the loss of life was 184, far below the number at New York. Pan Am 103 at Lockerbie resulted in 270 deaths and that took far less planning and resources to accomplish.

The Flight 77 crash, although terrible, was certainly not the significant event it was hoped to be. They damaged the Pentagon, but they did not destroy even a significant portion of it. Part of that failure was due to approach, part to the inexperience of the pilot. Hitting a tall building, compared to a low one is relatively easy yet one plane in New York nearly missed the one tower. These guys were marginally able to keep a plane in the air.

To hit a tall building you can stay well above ground objects and line up on the target. To hit a relatively low building the pilot has to fly a profile that enables him to stay above ground objects and then still be or dive low enough to hit the building. The pilot of Flight 77 actually hit the ground and lost some momentum before hitting the Pentagon. This certainly reduced the damage and loss of life.

A solid hit or better yet a “dive bomber” approach into the building from above would have almost certainly spread the fuel more and been far more “productive” to the Muslim cause in damage and loss of life. But requesting training in that maneuver would almost certainly raised an alarm. Why would a commercial pilot trainee want to learn how to crash a plane into an object on the ground? That would almost certainly have raised a red flag.

But some of the other things about the hijackers raised at least yellow flags and they were ignored, even ones noted as unusual by the flight instructors. If a flight instructor had said to me in 2000, “I have a student who seems uninterested in landings and takeoffs,” I would have had serious questions. Even if I could rationalize out not wanting to learn takeoffs, not wanting to learn landing makes no sense. Once you are in the air, someone has to land the plane.

Eventually one of the dead or unconscious pilots scenarios that have appeared in fiction many times has to happen in real life. When it does hopefully someone in the plane will be able to land it. To have a pilot on board who can’t land negates one of the reasons to have a second or third pilot.

The smugness of the elite of the intelligence community got us this time, they ignored the concerns of the flight experts and the intelligence grunts who registered concerns. If any Americans should have been held responsible for 9/11 the middle echelons of the FBI should have been considered along with the liberal senate leaders and judges that compartmentalized and emasculated our intelligence and law enforcement in the twenty years before 9/11.

And then there was Flight 93. This was not just a failure, it was not even a miserable failure. But the defeat was based on an intelligence failure. The passengers on Flight 93 knew about the towers and knew how this was going to play out if they didn’t do anything. And they decided to act.

Their act resulted in a defeat of the Mores. The Muslim plan blessed by Allah was thwarted by the infidel! These Americans rose and stood to the task like those with Charles Martel at Tours in 732 A. D. when the Muslim hoards were advancing on Europe. They were turned back there and just as surely at Shenksville PA on 9/11/2001. Sure, forty people sacrificed their lives, as did many at Tours but they prevented a far greater loss of life. Be sure this flight had a target and it was one that would have been significant.

Many think it was the White House or Three Mile Island. A successful attack on the White House would not have resulted in significant loss of life. In addition, the hatred for GWB that exists today in the Muslim world did not exist then. Three Mile Island is under the flight path of Harrisburg International Airport and was designed to handle the impact of the largest commercial airliner on the drawing board at the time it was built, the 747 which is larger than Flight 93. Most of the media who have reported this possibility have little knowledge of what they talk and write. I assure you the terrorist leaders did their homework. There was too much invested in this operation to let anything to chance. It had to be the capitol.

There is a definitive line of succession for the president, there is no such line for the congress. If we lost a significant number of them it would be weeks or months till all of those seats were filled. There is no vice-senator to take office if the senator dies. A successful attack on the Capitol would have resulted in a far greater loss of life and been far more devastating to the country.

You have to understand, to Muslims, infidels have only two choices, convert to Islam or die and every member of the Senate and House were infidels at that time. That alone was reason for them to be targeted. And what if there is a Muslim in the Capitol when it is hit? If they are faithful they are guaranteed to go to be with Allah and the virgins. It is called necessary collateral damage.

And that plan failed because of the “Minute Men” (and women) who were on Flight 93 gained enough information to know what was happening. They were the irregulars who took a position and then attacked.

Some ask why the Muslims didn’t follow-up with a second attack. Those who ask that do not understand what it takes to lay on such an attack. You just don’t get up some morning and say, “I’m going to commit an act of terrorism today.” It takes planning. The planning and preparation for Oklahoma city took months and thousands of dollars and it was a relatively cheap and dirty operation. It took over seven years from the first WTC attack to prepare the second. Bill Clinton took no action after the first and the second one came.

George Bush on the other hand launched an attack on Afghanistan about a month after the second one and then liberated Iraq. This has kept the terrorists busy fighting U. S, Forces in both countries. Look at the deaths of soldiers from IED’s and Iraqi civilians from car bombs. Those resources are being expended there, not here.

Let be break the real bad news that the left wing press isn’t telling you. The Muslim hoards still want to take us down. It is in the twisted religion they follow. They have to take us down to please Allah. This isn’t something that negotiating will fix. They haven’t moved back one millimeter in this in a thousand years. So how do we prevent another attack? The really bad news is, we can’t. But we can reduce the risks and the impact.

Let’s look at how we can reduce the risk.

We must be ever vigilant from the Oval Office to the street or lane where we live. We need to get the Congress and courts committed to it too. We must put aside the “let George do it” attitude and say as John Kennedy, “ask not what your country can do for you but ask what you can do for your country.”

It is dropping a dime on a drug pusher who is indirectly helping fund this activity or someone who is doing something that is questionable. It is having the police and FBI aggressively investigate things and then supporting them when they make arrests. It is having the Congress (pro is opposite of con, is congress the opposite of progress?) pass the laws that help law enforcement. If it is a law like the Patriot Act that raises concerns about civil liberties, they must not reject the law but be astute enough to provide appropriate, viable and confidential oversight. We must demand oversight but it must not hamper law enforcement. Demand the congress, president and the border agents secure the border.

Use drones, fences, whatever and tell Mexico to come to the party to help stop this invasion or we will treat their handling as an act of war and close the border totally. When the money from tourists stops and the money illegals send home stops Mexico will get the message is a couple days.

Secondly we can reduce the impact. A good case in point here is the one company in the towers that had a plan and a leader who wrote that plan and got it learned by the people. Most of them got out. That leader did not, he gave his life going back after others after he had nearly all of his people out. But it took plans and drills.

There is little difference in natural disasters and terrorism in what the individual and government can do. Look at Katrina and Rita. Had local and state government taken their responsibility seriously more people would have been saved. Individuals can help by having a plan and some stored resources. The game, “what if” helps produce a plan.

There are resources on the web to help see what you need. And by the way, it isn’t that expensive and if you don’t have everything, what you have will help. Just putting things that are needed in plastic bags so it isn’t ruined can be a life saver.

Remember, long before local, state and federal government help gets there, you and your neighbors are. I am reminded of the video of neighbor helping pull victims from destroyed houses in the one California earthquake. They were there before the emergency services. In New Orleans a lot of what we saw was looting. If it had been looting stores for canned food, blankets, diapers, etc. to open a shelter to care for people I would have had no problem – and that did happen – but what we also saw was TV sets and electronics being carried out, things that there wasn’t even power to run.

Finally we need to identify our enemy. It is not George Bush or even the liberals in congress although those liberals are certainly aiding and abetting our enemy, the definition of treason. The enemy is not the average Muslim anywhere in the word. The real enemy is those who preach with the slant that Islam must wipe out all other thought. This brand of Islam and freedom cannot coexist any more than can Communism and freedom. It is a dictatorship of the Clergy.

Unfortunately there are few Islamic teachers who are not preaching this! If you were to suggest a dictatorship of the clergy to any liberal in the U.S. with Gerry Fawell as the dictator they would choke. But they will allow it to be so in Islam in the name of culture, diversity and the like. All of these concepts are pure bunk and the thinking they are not is symptomatic of a mental illness.

The final line, they are getting ready for another strike. They are testing the waters, to find out where we are weak, open, vulnerable. It is like the messages sent out by Midway, hoping we tell them were we are vulnerable. Some of the press and congress are more interested in harming George Bush than they are protecting this country. This is treason. The tests are to find that weak spot, just as small patrols in battle are used to probe enemy lines to learn where an attack can succeed. Were and when I don’t know. But I do know that what we are doing in Iraq is pushing it back and giving us more time.
