Apparently, we have seen the worst of liberal leftist insanity; as a former Carter adviser calls for shooting down Israeli planes if they bomb the genodial nuclear weapons program of a totalitarian regime that considers America to be the Great Satan.

Former Carter adviser Zbig Brezinski, who campaigned for Obama during the 2008 Presidential elections, called for shooting down any Israeli planes if they choose to bomb Iran’s genocidal nuclear weapons program. The former Carter adviser said:

They have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch? We have to be serious about denying them that right. If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not. No one wishes for this but it could be a ”Liberty” in reverse.

Wow, this just goes to show hpw insane people who served in the Carter Administration and who campaign for Barack Obama can get. This is one of the worst examples of liberal leftist insanity. Of course, I prefer to support pro-democracy movements. Bombing Iran’s genocidal nuclear weapons program still leaves the totalitarian and oppressive Islamo-Fascist regime in power. But bombing Iran’s nuclear weapons program could at least save the world from s nuclear-armed Iran or delay Iran from getting nuclear weapons. America shooting down Israeli planes is an incredibly stupid move [to say the least]. The Iranian regime is a global threat. Their radical Islamic ideology makes MAD [Mutually Assured Destruction] not a deterrent to using nuclear weapons. Iranian leaders [including, but not just, Ahmadinejad] repeatedly call for Israel’s destruction. Iranian military journals call for a nuclear EMP attack on America while the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei threatened to “vaporize the Zionist entity” if the Iranian regime got nuclear weapons. Israel’s bombing of Iran’s nuclear weapons program, like Israel’s bombing of the Osirak nuclear weapons program in Iraq in 1981, is legitimate self-defense by a nation that, since birth, had to deal with existential threats from all around her borders, whether from her totalitarian neighbors or totalitarian terrorist groups. To add to the insanity, this ridiculous call of shooting the planes of our most valuable ally in the region in order to save the genocidal nuclear program of a Nazi-like regime that seeks to destroy Israel, America and the rest of the free world comes from a professor of American Foreign Policy at John Hopkins University school of Advanced international studies, which is located in Maryland.

Any American President who does start any violent confrontation with Israel should be impeached so quickly.

To add to the insanity of this call, should we recall Iran’s intense meddling in Iraq? Iran is meddling on the side against democracy and is using much of its resources to turn Iraq into a radical Islamic proxy state. So Iran is meddling to impose on Iraq the same repressive system that they imposed on their own people and the same system which Iran seeks to impose worldwide. Iran is at the center of the problem when it comes to the issue or radical Islamic terrorism. Iran has American blood on its hand including the blood of the American liberators in Iraq who came to spread democracy. Iranian-proxy terrorist groups used EFP explosives to kill American soldiers. Iran backs radical Islamic proxy groups like the Supreme Council on Islamic revolution in Iraq [SCIRI], got Iraq to butcher the Camp Ashraf residents and unfairly tilts the political process in favor of pro-Iranian candidates. To add to that, Iran also supports the Taliban. And the 9/11 commission report even reported on the close ties between Iran and Al Qaeda. Israel is in the forefront in opposing Iran’s nuclear weapons program and other threats in the free world.

Israel is in the forefront in fighting the radical Islamic Jihadists who seek to destroy America and the rest of the free world. So, considering these fact, it is the antithesis of US interests to attack Israeli planes or to start any other violent confrontation with Israel.
