Happenings around the Earl Jones case.
When people from Malone, New York are sending money to help out the traumatized in the Earl Jones case, I wonder about the nature of a man that can be as cool as he was and take off with no means of being contacted. When I hear of no apologies from him regarding the loss of millions of dollars of funds while he lived so lavishly off the invested money of his victims, I think of the demon that must be in control of this human form. What a disgusting person when allowed to go back to his home because it takes so long to go through 20 years of fraudulent accounts! Then my attention moves away from the man and the justice system which although functioning takes its sweet time in the province and for fraud like this, we should learn from our American cousins.
He should be under house arrest and not be allowed the civil liberties he has until his trial. About the people that he ripped off? They should have had some common sense when they gave all their earnings away in such unstable times. The wife should be convicted for having accepted that 70 thousand a month. Where was her reasoning? She only acted as a means for him to transfer his funds to her so as to save on taxation and so should be considered as aware of something not being right. Besides that, there was a tremendous amount of spending ten of thousands of dollars when their clients were getting ripped off. Some were left without sufficient money to by their basic necessities. I wouldn’t feel sorry for them, they should have known better than ut all their savings in the hands of one person.
So he appeared out of the blue and was questioned about his activities. Now he is back in his home with the shades down awaited further evidence to be tossed at him. I wonder why it has taken days just for us to hear that his wife was his favorite beneficiary! The justice system should go after the money she was given with a court order and not drag their feet!It ought to be a lesson to other financial counsellors who want to be as smug as Earl Jones.
