When people try to do good things in the world, why does the world make it so hard?
If you were able to adopt a child once already, wouldn’t you think the process’ll be a little smoother second time round? If you felt mercy on a little girl after her mother died giving birth to her, wouldn’t you want to help? If money was no issue for you, wouldn’t you do what you can to help others? Should it matter if you’re married or single? A good deed is a good deed.
Chifundo (meaning Mercy), a three year old girl, lost her mother during her child birth. Madonna, a well known singer/actress/model/regular person, wanted to adopt Chifundo so David Banda can have a sister.
David Banda and Chifundo both are from Malawi, Africa so they both have common grounds. They both would have the same heritage, language, and original home. The opportunity Madonna can bring into the life of these little girl could become limitless and powerful don’t strip that from Mercy.
Why do we make good things so hard and the bad things good? Respect to Malawi and their rules or laws but a child being in a foster home is not better than a child being in a loving home. “Loving home” is the key word here, so what Madonna and Guy Richie divorced people divorce everyday and deal with kids. Some divorcees don’t want their kids at all to be honest.
But here’s a woman willing to continue a good will, even if the child is another race. This is a norm for people with genuinely good spirits but to some these is ridiculous behavior.
Why did it take two years for the finalization of Madonna’s son David, is this normal?
Are Africans afraid to give a black child to a white mother or does being divorced really cause the issue? Would the same type of issue arouse if a black mother wanted to adopt a white child? …………..Yes, yes it would.
Is this a form of racism or not? Everyone knows these children will be well taken care of and a true look into Madonna’s personality shows she means no harm to these children. If there is an open place in the world for children to become better, let them go!
What good would it do Malawi to have one more child in the foster system; can’t one of them at least get an opportunity at life?
Chifundo should be able to have a mother, brother, sister, uncle, cousin, dog, just as any other kid. How many millionaire single mothers do you know willing to care of other children? Most of us reach a point in our lives were we are blessed to help others, what makes it so different for celebrities? The only difference in people with the will to help others is money, and opportunity. Madonna has the money, experience, and opportunity so let her fulfill her need to help. I too would be pissed if my son can’t have his sister as promised, just like a woman gets bothered if she can’t get pregnant again. It’s a disappointment on all parts.
Again here is someone trying to make good in this chaotic world but her efforts become derailed by silly laws and critics. Let Madonna have Mercy.

Great article!! It is a wonderful feeling to know that some people in this world still have a heart. People with open arms and acceptance. People who have God in their lives. Each unique individual makes a difference.
I totally agree with your article!
I think madonna is doing a good job and people should mind their own business, whatever she gets up to is her concern only.
If i was too poor to bring a kid up, i would want it to go to someone who can give it a good life, most what none of us will ever achieve in a life time.
