I sit here and read the daily newspaper and watch the evening news on the television and wonder what we are doing wrong. With the current political unrest which is occurring in Iran perhaps we should revert to the dominant policies that were employed by our government in the 60’s. As we can see from the front page headlines there is now a national movement forming in Iran that would like nothing better then to unseat the terrorist establishment that is running their government at this time. The question which is being posed to America is should we let our leader open his mouth and say something inappropriate or should we encourage him to remain quiet and let the CIA secretly move weapons to the protesters. I personally vote for the second option.

Granted Obama is concerned with saying or doing anything which may perhaps alienating the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei however he is probably the only one within our government who may be thinking that way. If Obama for one moment actually believes that he can become buddies with the supreme leader, Ali Khamenei by agreeing to every word that emerges from his lips or by bowing to his every action then our president’s capability to govern is highly questionable and needs serious reconsideration. Obama can not possibly be so naive that he honestly believes that he can gain the friendship of a man who totally believes that America is the modern day Satin and should be completely annihilated. In the famous word of our previous President George Bush, “Read my lips” Mr. Obama, Ali Khamenei is our enemy not our potential friend. Do you understand?
We should by all manner of human decency and by the very out cry for social justice be encouraging towards these activists in our every action and show our total support towards their cause. We should be appeasing the Iranian protesting fraction and not pacifying the countries current leaders. This is one of the best opportunities that America has had since 1979 to unseat those powers which have create world disharmony and openly promote the tenets of terrorist around the globe. We should be doing all we can to assist in toppling this regime and encourage its replacement with one that is more socially acceptable to the world at large.
