God Caused the Economy Downfall

Is well known that God is attributed with Wisdom and Justice, and also is well known that this attributes are gifted to humanity in several ways, establishing that God is among us.

Neither is  very clear nor there is many elements to assure that God is among our lives although many people assure the contrary. There are plenty of examples, starting with the miracles, continuing with faith acts, until the adventure to affirm that God is present in the daily facts that build the history.

The D Day in Normandy was possible thanks to God’s will acting in the weather and numbing the German soldiers will. This is one of the arguments used to demonstrate the acts of God in the history of mankind. Another argument historically used as God’s intervention act is the Muslims been defeated by the Christians in Lepanto battle. In our present, Katrina’s hurricane tragedy is used as an unquestionable act of God to punish the many sins committed in New Orleans.

So the facts, God only has intervened in behalf of a part of the mankind and harms another part in each of the interventions previously quoted. So, it’s allowed to ask if God really intervene and if he does, where he left the wisdom and the justice? Why do God acts partially?

With the last events affecting the global economy, I’m daring to say that if there is a act of God in the history of humankind, the current economic crisis is such act, indeed, God has caused the actual global economic crisis.

In one hand we have all the people who really believe in a global warming. Their struggle often lay in encourage the lowering of the industrial activity and by default the carbon dioxide emission, which is currently happening. So this people could be happy due to the decrease of the carbon dioxide emission.

In the other hand we have all the people involved in convince all to deny the popular hysteria of the global warming. And they are happy too, because due to the actual economic contraction, the investment in clean technologies is actually delayed.

The outstanding issue with the above comparison is that the Wisdom and the Justice of God finally are present equally to everyone, like Christendom statement always says: “There is God for everyone”.  In addition, they also taught us that God is the model for us mortals, so it might be more to be learned an important lesson, namely that no one could be awarded as the holder of absolute truth, no matter how many years History endorse you like the Catholics, nor how many scientific studies supporting you as with the promoters of Global Warming, it is desirable to find a balance between what we want for ourselves and what we want for others.

So it should God caused the global economic crisis? Yes. What I say not as irrefutable proof of the interference of God in our lives, but as a reflection of our reality, which in this case fits exactly with the eternal search for God.
