Health care Issues.
There is so much going on with our healthcare systems and the issues behind them. I have been trying my best to keep up with the news and such with Obama’s healthcare plan/forum. I have pretty much stopped listening to the news, it’s very upsetting and just purely disgusting in my mind. This healthcare situation is just getting worse everyday!
So Obama thinks he has a great plan for our healthcare situation! It really sounds more like he’s going to screw things up with his plan. Just my opinion, but I am sticking to it!
I feel very fortunate that I have health insurance through Blue Cross/Blue Shield in my job. I mean, the insurance premium does go up every year, but that is a give for all of us. It’s not just myself it’s affecting, but all of us who do have health coverage. Mine will go up $25 per month next year, but again, I am very glad to have health insurance.
I am not racist by any means, but I will tell you this much…..
Most majority of the hispanic community, especially where I live, do not have health insurance. What does this mean? If they take themselves and/or their family members to the emergency room at the hospital, the bill will clearly not be paid. Yet, the hospitals cannot turn away anybody, which I completely understand. But what this does to the economy is it is making it worse for all of us. Especially the ones that DO have insurance.
I had heard awhile back this analyst on one of the major news networks on cable talk about this. She concluded that the ones who do not have health insurance should be put on Medicaid. Honestly, I completely agree with her. This does make sense! Now, I’m not the brightest bulb in the bunch, but clearly, this does make sense! From what I understood from her, if Obama puts his plan through for the healthcare, all of the health insurance companies will go out of business.
The bottomline is that something logical has to be done with regards to this healthcare crisis.
