Some rantings on the current state of our politicians in power.
Today we live in a time when the people of the United States of America are being ignored and used by the 485 people that comprise the our legislative body. These 485 people seem to have forgotten that they are servants of the people and the people are not servants of the government. In the past 3 months, our congress has authorized the spending of nearly one and a half trillion of our tax dollars without any accountability of how and where our money is being spent. They simply dismiss the cries of the American people they serve for the practice of fiscal responsibility and accountability basically telling the 300 plus American citizens that they know what’s better for us than we do.
We as citizens of the greatest have a duty to protect the fundamentals of liberty that our founding fathers fought and died for. We have a duty to let our lawmakers know their place, that they work for us! And we have a duty to not stand idly by and watch as they destroy the fundamentals and freedoms of life liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that we as Americans have enjoyed for over 230 years. We need to go to the ballot box in 2010 and send a stern message to all 485 members of the U.S. legislature that we will tolerate this legislation without representation no more, and that they will see a swift end to their political careers if they continue to act in favor of their own personal interests. So let us be heard as dissenting patriots, that we value our liberties, and we value our freedoms, and let us be held by the tail by our 485 congress men and women no more!
