It is a moral necessity that Bill Clinton release the list of names of his benefactors.
Hillary Clinton’s conflict of interest lies in her husband’s accumulation of money from Middle Eastern countries. During her term as Secretary of State, Ms. Clinton will be negotiating on behalf of the United States of America with nations such as Iran from where Clinton’s husband has been receiving benefits (and it has been because Bill had been receiving benefits from the Middle East all along that he has been extremely guilty of letting people like Osama Bin laden go by the wayside). Mr. Clinton had definitely been biased toward the Middle East throughout his tenure as President of the USA and his subsequent position as statesman. It’s not enough to release a list of the Middle Eastern benefactors. What will truly satisfy those who truly wish Mr. Clinton to come clean is to return all the money he received from the Middle Eastern nations and stop accepting their donations. The aforementioned acts will definitely prove in Mr. Clinton’s favour. In opposition to the following statement a certain Democratic official made: “It [the release of a list of all 208,000 donors] speaks to President Clinton’s willingness to do more than what’s asked of him” the following can (and must) be stated: If Bill Clinton desires to continue being a person held in the public trust , he must, as a matter of course, reveal the names and whereabouts of all 208,000 benefactors. As opposed to the idea that releasing the information on all 208,000 benefactors is an act above-and-beyond the call of duty, it is Mr. Clinton’s obligation to release to the public information on all 208,000 benefactors. It is not enough that said list be in his Library, either. That list of 208,000 benefactors must be accessible by any human inhabitant of the United States of
America, no matter where he or she makes his or her home. The release of said information is, indeed, an ethical and a moral requirement. In fact, if there is no law on the books as of this writing that requires a political figure to release such information, there should be if the United States of America wishes to be “one nation, under God”.
