Interpretations

Interpretation is the end result of someone’s perception of an action. A perception is a thought about an action taken. Are we the people being trained to see evil in everything/everyone? Are we the people being trained to think evil about everything/everyone? Are we the people so weak minded that: we believe everything we see and hear on television? Or on the radio? Or how about what you see in the news papers? Whose interpretations are we hearing and or seeing?

Twenty some odd years ago I went to work for a radio station here in California , I didn’t stay long. I wrote some stuff about some of the good things that had occurred, it was turned down. The man in charge laughed at me and told me I’d never sell this junk anywhere, people don’t want to hear the good they want excitement in their lives, bad news sells and the worse it is the better it sells. He told me the people eat it up. A confirmation of his statements to me that day was several years later when some dear friends of mine left church one evening, a woman and her adult son who was driving them home, swerved to miss a dog in the road landing their vehicle in the aqueduct killing one of my friends. The papers tried to make it sound like murder for insurance money that never existed. The son was devastated by his mother’s death and then by the so called justice system and so called news media on top of everything else. People that didn’t know any better condemned him a murder even after the courts were forced to free him and the news media stopped their blatant lies about the incident.

I applied several times too many different magazines and news papers as a writer and came away with the same end results. “Get as much dirt on these people that you can, blow it up bigger than life and exploit it.” How does one sleep at night after ruining someone else’s life? Are we the people so desperate for evil things that we “eat it up?” Are we the people so board with life that we have to believe this “blown up larger than life” propaganda crap? Or are we all so weak minded that it never occurred to anyone that the news we listen to is rarely good but mostly bad? Yet doesn’t anything good ever happen to you or around you? Has anyone even bothered to actually look for good in and around you?

The court system will cover up someone’s brush with the law who takes and runs drugs and has learned to out smart the system from there on, but is quick to force a guilty plea from an innocent for a crime not committed. And the media runs with that too. Sex offenders yes there are some but not all who carry that title are guilty of the crime. You see I’ve been exposed to the truth about our so called justice system and so called attorneys and most of them are worthless to an innocent person. There is no money in innocence. Everything is based on the media and their response and interpretation to the outcome of a trial. I wanted to tell the media the truth but the attorneys wouldn’t permit it saying it would only hurt our case. Why? The media sees only bad not good and therefore make matters even worse. The media is in the bad news business and the bigger the better therefore innocent people suffer and end up with labels they don’t deserve. The court system twists words around to suite themselves and destroy others lives. After all is said and done, like with hospitals and doctor offices, now you are required by the court system to sign a piece of paper stating you decided to plead guilty freely and willingly, true or not. Your attorney will tell you that you will spend an ungodly amount of time in prison for a crime you didn’t commit if you don’t. Those are your true choices people. Either way you are labeled for life for a crime you didn’t commit so the choice is spend time in prison also or not. Either way a person is condemned by the public for a crime not committed. All because the news media demands all accused are guilty and we the people eat it up.

Use to be, if a person felt uncomfortable about a situation that person would walk away and that would be the end of it. But then too those were days when honesty was the policy, respect was the order of the day, and people thought for themselves. Today is based on popular belief’s force fed by the media’s blown out of proportion half truths of destruction. The media had never been totally truthful from the day of conception. The media has always been from a one sided point of view and blown out of proportion. Look at our history if you don’t believe me! We were all told at one point how General Custer was a brave man we were never told how he came into Indian camps while the Braves (young fighting men) were out hunting and literally murdered old men, women and defenseless children to gain that reputation. Who cared anyway they were just stinking red skins right? Or how about a black man was beaten to death for touching a white woman but they forgot to mention that the white woman loved that black man and in jealousy and rage brought on by the teasing of other whites around another white suitor killed the black man. Who cared anyway he was just a nigger right? Where does it end? How far will we allow the media to go with this? It hasn’t changed any! The really bad guys are made out to be saints while many more of the innocent are condemned to being guilty. Where will it end?

I’ll tell you when it will end, when people stop looking at each other as a competitor, when people will stop looking for the bad in each other, when people stop taking the media as the gospel to live by, when people stop trying to put lines between lines where one doesn’t exist during conversations or in writings, when people learn again that no means no and yes means yes, when people learn to think for themselves again, when people can learn to respect other people for their differences and understand that everyone has something to contribute to society, when people can learn to be honest about themselves and deal with it accordingly, when people realize that color, race, religion, size, nor language makes any difference because we are all human beings with feelings, emotions, and a soul and when people can learn to grasp that life on earth is a learning experience.

I come from what is ironically called and widely misunderstood as a “Touchy, Touchy, Feely, Feely” home life according to the currant interpretation of those in charge of the legal stealing of children in our country. My grandparents raised me because my biological mother, like so many in that day, was more concerned about going out partying, getting drunk and having more children then taking care of what she had and making something really good out of her life. My grandfather worked almost all the time to support us and my mother’s wants, so I hardly ever saw him. I didn’t know my biological father was alive until I found him in my thirties. My grandmother would hug me and say a prayer over me every time I left the house, hug me every time I would come home, hug me when I cried, hug me when I got hurt, hug me when I was happy, hug me before I went to bed at night and those hugs made me feel secure and loved. Today that is called something dirty with dirty intentions. When I was sick and/or scared my grandmother would lie down next to me and if my dad had been there he would have been the one to lay down next me to console me, today that is called something dirty with dirty intentions. My husband was raised the same way by his mother who was raised by her mom the same way. Today to do the same for our own children will end up with our children removed from us and us being labeled a sex offender should someone see you or the child tells someone else about it. If this is a sexual offence instead of an act of kindness then most all of us are guilty and should have to report yearly on the list of sexual offence. The courts will change the words “lay down next to” in favor of a wide open term open to interpretation of “lay down with” and proceed to make it sound like a lewd act had taken place. Children are coaxed and coached by their sickly sweet abductors to tell a story that didn’t happen but no one seems to realize the child changed the story several times over and when that is pointed out the excuse is given that it is normal for a child to be confused or not want to tell the truth. Bull Pucky! To use their own words back at them “children don’t lie.” Or again we must understand that the majority of those working for these child stealing organizations are either single, divorced or have been married several times, there must be a reason. I couldn’t marry or stay married to a home breaker, deceitful, lying individual either. I have to trust the person I’m married to.

Having been married to a sexual offender during my first marriage of eighteen years and the same organization letting that man off Scott Free but nailing my innocent currant husband for the same type of crime is a scam to cover up their blatant mistakes of the past, and if they or anyone else thinks I’ll be silent about the incident they are sadly mistaken. How many other innocent people are labeled for life? How many guilty ones are out there free as a bird? My ex-husband is one of them. So when it comes to Interpretations, perceptions, and what you see or hear, think about that!

Interpretations and perceptions of addicts are off but the courts will take their word for what they thought they saw over someone who has a spotless record with the exception of maybe some traffic tickets if that. Accused stand condemned unless you are really wealthy and can afford exceptional lawyers and/or subtle pay offs. The truth in a nut shell! Money makes the difference, not justice because there is none. And until we the people stand up for justice there will not be any.

That is the beauty of living in the United States of America ! This government is “of the people, by the people and for the people.” We can make a difference all we have to do is stop listening to the bad news medias and stand for what is right instead of settling for what others say is right. Think about your interpretation and perception on issues of life and those around you. Are you willing to say enough is enough? Are you willing to admit the media is not a source of total truth and stop giving them the power to dictate and dominate our entire lives? Be it television, radios, news papers or magazines they are all out there for one thing and one thing only, to get as much dirt on people as they can, blow it out of proportion and make money doing it. In this way the media has way to much influence on our judicial courts, attorneys abilities to serve the purpose they are there to do for the people, and destroy innocent lives right along with a miniscule amount of the guilty while living off of other people’s sorrows, problems and creating some where none actually exist. Think about it!
