They are only a threat to stability within the region and to nations such as Israel. They aren’t a threat to the U.S. or Europe. Any “threats” to the United States or Europe are no more than mere bluffs or statements just to grab the spotlight and harrass to any who they percieve as enemies. Ahmadinejad is a big-mouthed upstart but not stupid, he’s not going to provoke nations such as the United States or Britain or any nation that has a military capable of crushing the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. 

If anything, North Korea is more of a threat to us than Iran. Again, Ahmadinejad has a big mouth but he’s sane. Kim Jon Il on the other hand, is mentally unstable and I wouldn’t put it past him to try and pull off a stunt such as trying to nuke a U.S. base, protectorate, or state (Hawaii).
