Iran Launches a Satellite

 There you have it folks.  For those that don’t know what an inter-continental ballistic missile (ICBM) is, allow me to clarify. ICBM’s are those pesky weapons from the70’s and 80’s.

We had them and the Soviet’s had them.  This made the U.S. nervous and it made the Soviet’s nervous.  Why?  Well, these are weapons designed to carry a cargo or payload, usually nuclear.  The are used for mass casualty attacks on the ground.

Inter-continental pretty much explains itself, this means the missile can travel a very long ways, maybe from one continent to another.  Irandid not launch a satellite tonight, they tested an ICBM.

It is also possible they are testing technologies to eradicate or damage other satellites.  Think very carefully about this. ALL of our military and governmental units rely heavily on satellites.

If the Iranians can actually get that thing they sent up deployed, it would mean we would have to find a way to secure our satellites from attack.  This is because they could literally just take pot shots at satellites, if they were funded properly.

Sure, maybe it is just a t.v. satellite, and they mean no ill.  But, what if it is not?  Our relations with Iran might be repairable, President Obama is very intelligent and open-minded.  I suggest we use diplomacy to learn Iran’s true intentions.  This is no time for miscommunication.
