The President made promises. Will he be able to keep them?

   While asking for votes President Obama, Said he would close the prison in Guantanamo Bay. But now with the world watching. It seems uncertain that he will be able to deliver on his promise.

   Questions like, Can he ensure the safety of the American people. The Senate has blocked his efforts to close the prison. Siting the voters unease with bringing the prisoners to The U.S.

   Now with a Federal judge ruling that the U.S. can hold some prisoners indefinitely, with out charges.The president has a more challenging decision on who will be held.

   The  Obama administration faces criticism from human rights activist. With accusations of Civil Rights violations, And torture of the detainee’s.

   Ex- Vice President Chaney has gone public, Saying that the president has raced to close the prison with out a plan. Pointing out that the Bucsh administration wanted to close the prison. But ran into complications.   President Obama has has admitted to no have a plan for the prisoners that will not be charged in the near future.The Decisions of the President in the next few months, May determine how history will remember him.
