Looking at the ages of many senators and congressmen as well as their length of stay in Washington, one has to wonder if many are suffering from dementia in their continued push on their health care plan in spite of recent studies and the objection of the American public against them.

October 19, 2009: The Rasmussen survey shows 54 percent of the people are opposed to the plans backed by President Obama and Democrats in Congress. 59 percent of seniors are opposed.

In spite of recent studies on Medicare Advantage Plans and their success, Democrats insist on doing away with them.  Insurance companies are already sending out supplemental plan information.  Is there something they know that we do not?  The vote has not been done yet all indications are that Medicare Advantage Plans are dead, despite the millions of seniors on those plans who support them.

One might question if they have been too long in a Washington they created with wheels and deals. Looking at the ages of most of them, perhaps dementia is setting in as they ignore constituents, polls and studies resisting their push to get this health care reform passed.

Perhaps their families need to look at their behavior and consider their viability to continue in politics.  Are they suffering from dementia?
