American fast food chain Johnny Rockets, one of the most popular in the United States, enters the Russian market. The russian newspaper Kommersant writes that the company plans to open a franchise at least 40 restaurants in Russia. In this case, Rospatent registered trademark of Johnny Rockets in the class "restaurants" in August 2006.

The newspaper writes that the format of Johnny Rockets suggests a cross between a TGI Friday’s, where the average check is $ 30 and visitors served by waiters, and McDonald’s.

Johnny Rockets Group operates its own institutions in the U.S. alone, while in other countries develop a network for the franchise. Now the network is looking for a partner who is capable of 10-15 years at least 40 restaurants to open Johnny Rockets in Russia and the CIS with an average check of $ 10.

Network Johnny Rockets was founded in 1986 in Los Angeles. By its own estimates, the company operates 294 restaurants in 15 countries, of which there are 244 U.S. establishments.

Earlier this year the Russian market has already left the U.S. network of Burger King, Wendy’s and the company signed an agreement to open a franchise in Russia until 2020, 180 restaurants. Projected to Euromonitor, the market for fast food in Russia for this year will amount to 6.659 billion dollars, and by 2014 this amount could increase to half.
