An quick summary of a kid’s graduation and an opinion about it.

According to Yahoo buzz (a blog), a kid in Maine, USA, was denied his diploma at his high school graduation because he blew a kiss to his mother out in the audience. To be fair, the school had some kind of rule in place saying any kind of uncontrolled or obnoxious behavior would mean you wouldn’t get your high school diploma. I agree with that rule, almost 100%. However, if blowing a kiss to your mother is considered uncontrolled and/or obnoxious behavior… then the administrators at this school are completely senile. It’s a kiss, not flipping the crowd off or mooning them, but showing affection to a mom. Not entirely the worst thing to happen at a high school graduation. For example, at my high school graduation we talked and booed when our principal gave a speech FOR us. It just seems to me like this school was enacting on the fact that it still had power over the students that were graduating. It’s clear to me that they abused that same power too.
