Local News and Obama: The Big Mistake

In this article, I will first review some of the local news in and around the miserable city I live in today.  Then I will continue my rhetoric on apathy and disinterest.

Locally, the Mexican government appears to be adopting a firearm registration law for private citizens.  It is against the law for any person other then authorized individuals to own, carry, or have in their possession a firearm. The new policy would allow individuals who have firearms to register those weapons and keep them in their home for personal protection.

In another news story it is reported that a Mexican owned company is stealing the mineral rights from the people of Texas. The company in question is Cemex.  They own land they quarry in El Paso, Texas.  The land belongs to Cemex, but the mineral rights belong to the state of Texas. It is estimated that 550 million dollars of royalty fees have not being paid to the state of Texas by Cemex and previous owners of this land.

In a related story, it is reported that Mexican drug dealers are now fighting each other for the right to sell drugs to Mexican citizens.  For years Mexican drug dealers were killing their rivals in order to dominate the routes they use to bring drugs in to the USA.  Because of tighten security in America; drug dealers in Mexico cannot get their drugs in to the US.  Therefore, these Mexican drug gangs are now concentrating selling to people in Mexico

There was other news.  An El Paso, Texas Police Officer is being sued by family members of a person this officer shot for wrongful death.  Two brothers were shot outside a bar in Socorro, Texas after a fight. An ex-postal worker is being charged with fraud after investigator allege they video taped the man doing yard work and car work at home, which is in contradiction of his claim that he is disable and unable to lift more than ten pounds.

Okay enough of my local review of area news.  Yesterday, I wrote an article about Iranian protest and the implication it has on our apathy and the environment we find our selves today.  One of the news stories I read today was on a judge who was not sending notices to people accused of crimes as required by Texas law.  This judge did send out the arrest warrants after these people failed to appear in court.

My first question is if you know the law, why not follow the law?   This judge has to know the law.  Why didn’t he follow it?

Furthermore, don’t we all play a part in what happens if we fail to take an interest and let politicians do what they want?  I just reviewed presidential election results of the 2008 American presidential results.  It appears to of have been a statistical dead heat.  In addition, it appears the Electoral College screwed McCain.

Either way over 65 million Americans voted for the extremely wrong candidate.  Mr. Obama does not have any formal education or experience in administration or business management. He never ran a company.  He was never a Governor.  In the end of the presidential campaign Mr Obama sarcastically commented that there was nothing wrong with sharing the wealth.  Yet in his personal life he had not made major charitable contributions until after he started running for the president of the United States.

If he honestly believes in sharing the wealth, why wasn’t he sharing his wealth before running for presidents?  I know the most intelligent have an answer for this question.  Of course it was political.

Several days ago I asked myself why would any person choose to follow policy initiatives that are in dire contrast to the values that built the nation?  The conclusion I came to is that it has to do with the people Mr. Obama represents. 

You are mistaken if you think he represents you.  He represents people who want economically well to do individuals to support all the social issues of the time.  Therefore, Mr. Obama’s initiatives are not his.  They are the policy initiatives of all the people who think that with enough money you can create institutions that can love all the people who are hurting in the country back to good personal health, which in turn will lead to personal success.

In my opinion, they are under the impression that there are forces unseen that complicate people’s lives and the solution to personal hardship is to take money from those who have succeeded and give it to people who have not reached a personal level of success. Tell me what virus and/or a bacterium goes in to a person’s body and subjects that person to poverty.  Okay, illness can send a person to the poor house.  However, I am talking about showing me this invisibles force that makes people poor.  Aren’t poor upbringing and bad choices better reasons for personal failure.

Now, I have thought about personal success a lot.  Today, I define personal success as the ability to use the elements of our environment to achieve our personal potential.

Every ones life is different.  However, we all started out single, healthy, and with out any debt. Therefore, something had to happen between being born free of many complications to being a person lost in life, struggling, and unable to manage our lives.

In a personal project, I have been focusing on, I have been focusing a lot of attention on how early childhood abuse has resulted in people whose harsh emotions limit their ability to live a pleasant, enjoyable, and successful life.  In addition, I am aware at how regular setbacks and failures can complicate a person’s emotional and mental health.

In addition, I would have to say that abuse of any form is the reason for teenage pregnancy, drug abuse, divorce, gangs, and many more social ills.  Therefore, money is not the answer.  The answer is to help people with overwhelming emotions relieve them selves of their pain, learn a realistic perspective of life, organize their lives, and gain confidence to pursue their attainable goals.

Now, what does any of this have to do with violence around the world, unethical leaders, and corruption?  Well healthy people know what is important and work to protect what is good.

Through the evolution of philosophical thought we convince our selves that we have the right to demand the perfect life and have people fall at our feet to get our instructions at how to build this life for us.  Many of us conservatives are rather upset that such a “mistake” is in the office of the president of the United States.  In addition we have the right to be upset. We worked for a different choice. 

However, what do we say to people who did not work with us or who chose idealized politics as their guide?  It appalls me to learn that some people only voted for Mr. Obama because they share the same skin color with him.  I am not all that impressed with people who think it is my job to give them a life they want to become accustomed to in life.

Any person who has had it hard in life and has created a mess for them selves at any time can start organizing their life and start working for a better tomorrow.  No government program can help a person gain perspective and work for a desirable life.

As long as people are not completely in touch with life an actively working to preserve the good in life there will be unscrupulous people willing to take advantage of the weak.  Why tyrannical control of people, because they have allowed to happen.

America’s problems are the result of people who gained a negative attitude about life, companies, work, education, marriage, and all the good and substantive things in life.  Do you ever wonder why the people on the opposite side of conservative values are ridiculing conservatives for having good life practices like a positive, healthy, and productive attitude?

The truth is that no matter what the struggle adopting a negative attitude is never going to lead to personal success.  I say this even to people who have been abused in the most severe manner. It does hurt and it does traumatize us.  However, allowing it to turn us in to weak people who no longer can get up and fight is counter productive.

I have mourned for the people of Iran who have died on the streets protesting for peace and with the people who love them.  It is sad to see a good life be destroyed.  When that abortion doctor was killed in that church I did not mourn.  The world is better of with out him.  In my opinion, all he was only a murderer who does not deserve tears.

Many of us are getting close to not deserving tears at our funerals.  We have all been complicit in building the world we live in today.  Tyranny in all its faces is a creation of our apathy and disinterest.

We have no one to look for but our selves.  There we will find that though we were given good life principles we chose another road. This is the road of bad attitude, negativity, self-indulgence, and violence. 

Again I say that I wish all people could live free of fear, free of pain, and enjoying their lives.  However, how do we demand the good when we spend our days in the bad?  Mr. Obama spends his day lying to the American people.  Have you seen any of his policies bare good fruit?  Many people every day try to correct Mr. Obama’s attitude.  How much success are these people having?  For centuries the Iranian-Persian culture has been one of oppression through religious fascism and violence.  Regardless of the intent of Iranians to change this history, Iran remains a ruthless dictatorship.  Could this be because the average citizen is not worthy of receiving something better?  My simple analyze of the American culture-where I live- is that to many complain and not many offer good solutions.  This is what I attribute the miserable state of political affairs in America today, June 23, 2009.
