Good news/bad news, mass concerns, a corrupt government, a call for solidarity.

I very much like to talk to people, to share both the good and the bad. However, I feel that recently I have bogged the reader down with the plight of the economy. I have admitted to not being in the I Love Gordon  Party, (Gordon Brown that is), but have also been open enough to concede that he alone has not brought this country to it’s knees!

That being said, I have not offered any alternative route or practice. Or at least not in my works on this site. However, I can promise you all, behind the scenes I have tried to do my best to voice the concerns of the majority, in a peaceful, and I trust correct, and acceptable manner.

Fired up by the fraudulent expense claimby Senior Civil Servants, A Mr J Billingham of Tyseley wrote an article which was published in the Birmingham Mail Extra, Thursday 16 April 2009, entitled We’re being fleeced. In opening his piece, Mr Billingham called upon the Great British Public to take action and write to Mr Brown demanding transparency with expenses, and a firmer control over claims made. I immediately wrote my letter, to which to date I have received no reply, and I also submitted a follow up piece to the Birmingham Mail Extra.

My brief missive to the paper went:

I write regarding the splendidly illuminating piece by J Billingham, in the Thursday 16 April edition. I applaud his call for action, but would go that little further. It is not just the Brummies that need to raise their Standards of War, it is the whole Country. For indeed it is a battle we face together, and together we should stand, shoulder to shoulder, to repel the people bringing this Country to it’s feet. This is no time to start segregating and dividing. This is a time for unity of the masses. The people need a leader, good, honest, strong and true!
