A great grief has passed through us all, in this dark time of economic downfall. Michael Jackson, the one, the only, KING OF POP, “GigaStar” has left us, to brave this time of chaos, by ourselves.

Michael Jackson, the King Of Pop, owner of the 3000 Acre Estate known as “Never-land Ranch.”

Michael Jackson was many things, a drug addict, and the King of Pop. Many of us, recognize him for the great artist and dancer he was, in his prime time, at the release of his 2nd Album “Thriller.” It sold 20 Million+ Copies, and broke numerous records. His foray into the music industry, became a huge success, and he released many hit singles, such as “The Man in the Mirror”, “Thriller”, “Beat it”, “Billie Jean” and many many more!

As well, he was a philanthropist in a sense. He crossed borders, that no “colored” man had done before, to that extent at least. He was seen widely on MTV, and other shows. He dedicated his time, and gathered up many other artists, for the We Are The World Campaign, against poverty in Africa. He saved many lives.

Lately, however, Michael Jackson’s health turned for the worst. Slowly, drug addictions, and prescribed medications from numerous doctors, ate his health away, until his bones and body were so deteriorated, and frail, he had back pains, and couldn’t walk! He even needed a wheel-chair at one point!

He started going into debt, and his addiction for 2 major pain killers put him $100,000 in debt at a nearby pharmacy. But that’s not all, he had hundreds of millions of dollars of debt, and this summer, he had planned a Comeback Tour, probably to help him financially.

Its very unfortunate that he died so close to the summer tour, but now, even post-humus (after death) hes making money. His record sales sky-rocketed, the day after his death?

But what does this mean? Does it mean that many of us have forgotten his music, and wish for another nostalgic moment, to just enjoy the 80’s all over again? Or does it mean, that he had to die, for us to realize that he was a great singer, and give a little compassion? You decide, but for now… I’m going to beat it.
