My Thoughts on the Government

The condition of the government today is marginal. The power at the moment is in the hands of the republicans, but they have angered the general public; mostly because of one man’s stupid decisions. That man is George W. Bush; he has caused a large loss of faith in republicans, though his decisions do not necessarily represent those of the entire party. So it seems our next president will be a democrat. This is not a bad thing at all though.

In the current state of the U.S I believe democracy is the only thing the American people can deal with, at the moment at least. We could try another form but I believe it would just anger the general public. They would see it as a challenge to their rights, or a threat to their well being. Overall I think it is a very good idea for the government to stay the way it is now.

In the future I believe the people of the U.S could move on to a different form of government. I have no clue what kind it might be. I believe they would be able to handle it because one of the most true statements I have ever heard is “You’ll grow out of it.” I believe the people of the U.S will grow out of this form of government and found either a more refined version of democracy or a kind of communist government based around many representatives.
