About the intricate relationship between Obama, the economy, and foreign affairs.

The business of America is serious business.  Many people would like to take over the world and make every one else do what they want.  Humanity has lived through the Persian and Roman empires.  WWI was about a personal spat that quickly turned into a world war.  WWII was about Hitler and Japan wanting world domination.  The savior from socialist world rule was the US.

Many wonder why the US took time to enter each big world conflict.  I suspect it had a lot to do with the practicalities of national self-interest and less to do with the moral dilemma of stopping atrocities. Since America cannot save the world, it is correct to practice self-preservation.

The business relationship that has developed from Russia giving that nation who has closed off its base to the Americans is a perfect example of what I suspect will be the nation-to-nation relationships of the near future.  In my opinion, many will choose money over morality.

This will complicate American influence in the world.  Instead of being part of agreements that are based on that, which is decent and respectful of life, many will choose financial profit over protecting the dignity of life.

The challenge for the Obama administration is to maneuver in this complicated international environment facilitating beneficial partnerships with out selling out American principals and basic human values.  This will not be easy.  Humanity’s attitude of “anything goes as long as it makes you feel good” will influence “any business as long as it makes money” attitude”.

I have lately been writing about the modern human morality and how this relates to immorality in the leaders in government.  Around the world political leaders are being found in scandal after scandal.  I say it has a lot to do with the modern man’s morality.

This morality will influence future international relationships.  Russia and Iran are business partners.  Syria and Russia are business partners.  Iran and Venezuela are business partners.  America imports and borrows a lot from China even though China still practices forced abortions because of their one child per family law.  A long time ago political leaders and business leaders turned Mexico over to the drug gangs, yet Mexico is America’s number one trading partner.

I say forced abortions and a culture of illegal narcotics are sufficient reasons not have a partnership with another nation.  Yet in the modern world it is easy to over look certain flaws as long as it makes money.  The US gives a lot to China such as interest on borrowed money and access to American markets for cheap Chinese goods.  However, American gets a lot in return.  Hence, the reason the US continues to do business with China.

My concern is a president who appears not to know what keeps America strong.  A strong economic machine and a disciplined foreign policy with the goal of establishing partnerships that can counter act evil leaders with sinister motives keeps America strong.  Yet, judging by the rhetoric of Obama, it is wrong to have a successful free market system and a disciplined foreign policy.

Recent events have given me a lot to worry about today.  Russia and Iran in my opinion have already gained the upper hand on Obama.   By getting that nation to revoke access to their base, Russia now appears strong.  If Obama were to complain, he would appear weaker than he already appears.  The same goes with Iran, which chastised Obama after Obama’s “unclench your fist” statement.

Obama’s has two options.  Either he can condemn Russia and Iran’s actions or he can validate these actions.  If he condemns, he goes back on his new attitude presentation.  Under no circumstance can he validate.  To agree would to put American interest on the back burner behind the interest of foreign nations.  Americans would eat him alive.

Therefore, what are we stuck with in American leadership?  Obama does not understand the American free market system and he is dysfunctional in foreign affairs.  I contend the American economy would be well on the road to recovery if it were not for “Obamanonics”.  I am confident that Wall Street does not trust Obama.  When business people do not trust politicians, they do not invest.

Obama told the house of representative democrats to build him a stimulus bill.  Pelozi and company got to work on building a spending stimulus bill.  I have heard of sex education, birth control, and other outrageous programs being funded by this so called stimulus bill that have nothing to do with economic development.

I do not blame business people fearing a high tax burden and being reluctant to invest in Obama’s new world order.  Eventually this debt is going to have to be paid.  Most likely scenario is an increase in corporate tax rate.  Therefore, high tax rates, heavy spending, and a blind eye towards sinister leaders with ulterior motives are contributing to a weak America.

America, however, is the only nation, which has proven it can keep evil men in check.  In order to continue to influence international actions, which will enhance the human experience, it is necessary for America to maintain a strong economy and a disciplined foreign policy.  Otherwise, other nations choose other business partners instead of the US and world leaders do not respect the opinion of the American leadership.
