Obama Gives Up the Ghost at G-8 Meeting

The people of America want their president to represent something.  When you go in to conferences such as the G-8 economic meeting you have to realize that all other leaders have agendas of persona interest.  The American president should have on his agenda concrete goals that will contribute to wellbeing and progress of American citizens.

Mr. Obama does not seem to be concerned about any one else’s needs or expectation.  In my opinion, Mr. Obama thinks he is the only one with ideas.   After all, he likes to remind us that he is president.

Well, more to the point there are critical issues that require American leadership.  International security is one of these issues.  However, we have seen that other national leaders are more concerned about making money then standing up to Iran and South Korea. 

Obama appears to have no intent to holding the moral expectation. Iran kills and brutalized her citizens and Obama calls it a “debate”.  An unethical tyrant wants to rule with an iron glove in Honduras and Obama and company want to help him regain power after he left his country for fear of prosecution.

 Several days ago I was watching a Honduras news TV channel on the internet and heard a police official state that Honduras had asked Interpol for assistance in serving an arrest warrant on the previous president of Honduras for violating the laws of Honduras. Therefore, now secretary of state Clinton and Obama are trying to help an international fugitive who was attempting to stay in power by going against the constitution of his country regain power.

To Obama there are no bad people but conservative free market economy people.  Those of us who want to work to provide for ourselves are wrong.

Today, one of the items on the G-8 agenda was global warming.  Open markets for American companies, protection for American citizens, and respect for American laws, I think are more crucial then the fictitious global warming.

Global warming is fictitious because it is based on bad science.  Heat results in condensation.  This condensation results in clouds and rain.  Clouds block the sun’s rays, which cools the moisture in the air.  Rain brings back to earth most of the “greenhouse” gases that were floating in the atmosphere. Therefore, “greenhouse” gases are quickly dissipated and not able to have a lasting influence on weather and climate.

Yet, Obama and his kind would prefer that American companies be made to compete in an unfair business environment.  China is not going to stop burning coal.  Middle East nations will not stop oil collection or exploration.  India will not stop manufacturing that consumes lots of oil and coal.

The only companies that will have to suffer to improve the environment will be American.  Obama’s agenda is not one of growth for the American economy.  Obama despises manufacturing with traditional forms of energy.  I was watching a home improvement show.  In this episode, they were talking to a homeowner about the installation of solar power cells on his house.  The homeowner commented that it would take twenty-five years of energy savings in order for him to get back the money he spent on installing the solar panels. If a simple home investment in solar energy will require 25 years of energy savings to break even, how much more years of energy savings will manufacturing warehouses need?

The intent of the president should not be to bully the other leaders.  There is no need to be unreasonable and uncompromising just because even under Obama America remains the strongest nation in the world. 

However, Obama has already given up the ghost.  It essential to have goals that benefit the people of the nation you represent.  Americans want economic growth, economic, development, opportunities, and jobs.  None of Obama’s policy initiatives will result in any of these.  In addition, Obama is not in Italy to work for any of these elements.

Americans have been glutens and it is time they pay for their selfishness, in my opinion, is the attitude of Obama when dealing with other world leaders.  Mr. Bill Bennett was commenting today that he is tired of hearing Obama apologize for what Obama perceives as America’s past sins.  What kind of position of strength needed in challenging negotiations can Obama have when everyone knows you are not a fierce supporter of the American way of life?  Therefore, Obama is in Italy to look wise because he can insult the country he is president of today.

Obama has given Russia 1/3 of America’s nuclear arsenal.  Days ago in a meeting with the Russian president Obama agreed to reduce America’s nuclear weapons by 1/3.  Russia has never kept an “arms treaty”.  I wonder if Mr. Obama knows this fact.   Why does he think Reagan said, “Trust but verify”.

Therefore, Obama has already lost the war of negotiations.  His agenda will not help American companies compete in the global economy.  His agenda is ill focused because national and international security are more important then “global warming”.

Everyone can see the naive little boy playing world leader.  In addition, they are prepared to smile and nod yes and then run back to their respective countries and employ their agendas of energy consumption, government subsidies for their citizens companies, and selling critical software and hardware to unscrupulous nations that jeopardize American national security.
