What is socialist Obama thinking on healthcare?
On inauguration day Obama was treated like the second coming, as if he was going to cure all ills and transition the world. The liberal media were giddy over the very sight of him. One blonde male journalist (Mr. Chris Matthews) said he got a tingle up his leg at the mere sight of Obama. What was that about??
At the time- this blogger said this will come to an abrupt end, but not even this blogger could predict how fast. The TARP funds, the stimulus package and now the biggest disappointer of all the healthcare reform are kicking the starch out of Obama’s socialist agenda. How many personal stories do you have to hear from the English, the French and Canadians saying the socialized health care stinks and the wait for cancer treatment and critical operations is lengthy. The death panels deciding who gets treatment and who does not is the worst of it all.
The more Obama pushes the more the Americans push back- Adams and Jefferson must be rolling over in their graves. A death panel that decides who lives and who dies- definitely against everything America is about.
Last evening, MA Congressman Barney Frank was greeted with boos in the auditorium at a town meeting, this is happening all over the country. Either Obama is a spoiled brat or he just does not care about re-election. Obama thought that he had taken on magic powers over the America people. Best of all he and the Senate do not intend to have the same plan as the rest of us.
And AARP supports what their constituents have said a loud NO to. What is it AARP does again- they certainly are not fighting for job or healthcare for those over 50.

Wouldn’t it be horrible if we became more like those health systems in Britain, Canada, France, etc., where they pay less per person, get better care, have more choice of doctor, and everyone is covered.
We certainly wouldn’t want to adopt a system that costs less, has higher customer satisfaction and covers us all. That would make us GASP something kind of like a scary word- “socialist”! Except the President’s plan is nothing like those semi-socialist systems.
Well, I guess the billions that the industry is spending on scaring people is working.
And by the way, we already have socialist programs here that are quite popular – fire and police protection, libraries, community colleges, etc. But hey, let’s stay scared of a word.
