New President Barack Obama stood behind the podium for more than 50 minutes giving his address to the American public. As usual, it was a charismatic and powerful sermon. He covered the key components of his plan to fix the United States’ economy with the passion it will take to overcome the pitfalls that we face in these highly unstable times. One by one, he plucked away at the items on the outline of our financial crisis without wavering in his conviction. Even when what was being said was flawed, he stood fast and continued as one must do when things go less smoothly than expected. The use of body language and direct-speaking inspired those looking on. His enthusiasm and matter-of-fact mannerisms outweigh his political experience while standing solid upon the soapbox. The man’s determination fueled by his intellect draws the audiences attention to the power of his words while driving home the business of our weakening economy. Our nation hasn’t had the pleasure of having such a talented speaker in charge for quite some time-at least eight years!

No doubt a great speaker. I just dont buy into the ideas he is selling. I really liked some of his ideas on the camp trail, but he seems to be moving a little too far left for me. I do think part of that is Pelosi and Reed though. He is trying to play ball with them to get what he wants accomplished. The sooner those two clowns are thrown out of Washington….the better. None the less, I still hope that Obama is able to solve our problems, and will do my best to support his efforts as long as I do not see them as dangerous.
