Obama: The Impostor President

Barack Obama is a great speaker. He is a great salesman. And he can get away with almost anything he wants with the American people. He has sold us on the idea that the government has all the answers to the automobile crisis and the economy. The idea that the government can run GM (Government Motors) better than the private sector is ridiculous. The idea that they should go in there and try to fix it by throwing 50 billion dollars (and more than that!)at it is unbelievable. And now it’s in Chapter 11. Sure, they saved some jobs and I’m sure those people are thankful to Barack for that. However, now the government is 60% shareholder in the company. They now are in a position to dictate to management what types of cars should be produced and have a major say in all operations. Barack may be able to sell us on the idea of the government straightening out GM but he’s NOT going to dictate to America what cars we have to buy. It’s not going to work. Look at what the government did to AMTRACK. It’s government intrusion at it’s finest. They pour money into it every year but it never makes money. Now China has bought the Hummer line. This is not good because they can put those vehicles to use in their army against the world.

     Barack also is trying to sell the world on appeasment. He wants the world to think America is bad. He wants people who have worked hard all their lives to get ahead feel that it’s not good to get ahead. That’s what America is all about! My grandfather came here in 1906 from Sicily to have a chance to live a better life. He left all family behind. He wasn’t there when his parents died in the Old Country and bore the guilt about that all for the sake of having a chance…a chance at achieving all he could for himself and his family. He did pretty good. My family started a construction company after WWII and did pretty well all things considered.  Barack is always slamming on the rich. I’m sick of hearing it. Isn’t that the idea? To try to better yourself against all odds? Just because you obtain a modicum of success doesn’t mean you did something wrong. It means you did something right! Now, with all of the deficit spending the government is involved in, going trillions of dollars in debt in the process, taxes will go up accordingly. It’s a way of exploiting “the rich”. Corporations are becoming evil empires. I own a corporation, I employ about 25 people. Everyone is glad to have a job and I’m glad to have them aboard. While Barack builds a larger than ever government, just remember, it’s small business that really employs America, not Barack Obama. Just remember also, when he’s giving his sales pitch on health care, larger government, global warming or abortion rights, you’re being SOLD a bill of goods. Just make sure it doesn’t take us down the river!
