Political point of view of our new president and the affects he will have on our country.
Obama, we hope, will be the first link of finally joining our country together. This is a time that we must let the old ways and the old ideas go and build a new frontier for those that are coming up behind us: our next generation. To promote the idea of a world without hunger, prejiduce, and war.So for those that choose to see growth and love, he is exactly what this country needs. How ever, there are those still living in the past consumed with the old ways, humoring the old ideas. It is sad to say, but until we can shed our traditional ways of thinking, we truly will never be able to be a strong and united country. Our four fathers had a dream. A dream that they felt was important enough, worth dying for.We must recapture that dream so that our country’s founding fathers will not have sacrificed everything in vein. This is going to be a trying time for our new president. For everything he does good, half the nation will applaud. But the other half will watch him like a hawk, awaiting his first mistake and then they will rise up to bring him down. Thier way of thinking has brought this country great pain and suffering through out the ages. We need visionaries again like Franklin,Roosevelt, Jefferson, and other great men of the past. I beleive that Obama is just that man that can recapture the original thoughts and ideas of how this country was to have been. How can we concider ourselves justafiably moral when the old ideas did only not work but divided an entire country? Obama is half White and half African American which makes him a full human being, so then aren’t we all human beings? It is time for the old ideas to die and the new ideas to prospure so that we may create a future without hate, without hunger, without war but with unity and strength. I beleive that Obama is just the man that can bring about this kind of change as long as we are willing to stand behind him as a country and support him whether he stands or falls. It is truly going to be up to us; the farmers, the lawyers, the teachers, the home makers, the construction workers, all of us; to truly make this country the land of the free and the home of the brave; a country worth dying for. If our voices are loud enough for long enough, then this will be the time of change. So good or bad, we need to stand behind Obama that our future generations will see a world that our four fathers originally saw.
