What is causing Obama’s popularity to drop so dramatically.

Many may find it difficult to believe but Obama’s popularity is waning rather dramatically. The TARP funding, GM bailout, Stimulus funding, cap and trade, and now a “socialist light” healthcare proposal he is trying to pass quickly is dragging down his popularity.

Counter to Obama’s, Biden’s and their economists reported unemployment rate is exceeding 10% this summer.  Obama’s programs have created a trillion in deficit just this year. Republican “tea parties” continue to be well attended and the issue of rising taxes is not a popular one.

This and that the economy does not appear to be measurably improving is all contributing to this fall in popularity given Obama’s extremely popular rating just six months ago at his inauguration.  

A U.S. News and World Report Internet poll done July 22, 2009 indicated the the numbers clearly supported this thesis. Their question was , “What Grade would you give Obama in his Presidency so far?”, the response: 50.76% an F-.
