Our Government

The united kingdom and most of the world is in recession. A very strong and deep financial down turn, people wake up everyday wondering if they still have a job. Homes being reposessed by the shed load, and everyone strugling to make ends meet. Except those in the Government, they have been granted a pay rise, yes you heard me a pay rise to combat second home expenses. One rule for them and one rule for us.

If my partner went into work today and said , I want a pay rise, so i can afford to pay for a second home, she would have a strong but polite no. How can anyone in the Government actually see the wrong in thier actions when every tom dick and harry are doing the same.

They even had the cheek to bill for two pornographic films they had over the internet. These same people make us pay taxes and really decides what happens in this country, the same people who get over paid and under worked but get paid an obsurd amount of money and want even more.

How can anyone justify this, the country is in recession everyone struggling, 2.5 million people out of work and a further 1 or 2 million  expected to be made redundant. Whilst them in power, who makes up the rules for which we live, get a pay rise and extra money for expenses. If they cant get back and forth to work from thier family home, they should either move closer, or commute the same as the rest of the working world or get a new job and leave someone who lives in London to do the job.

As the country falls apart i just wish those in power would come clean, be honest with us and we would back them in the future, but at the moment the rich stay rich and the poor go homeless. The whistle blowers who get paid to warn of financial crisis, told our Government on numerous occasions that the receession we are in would come, but in stead of taking action, they sacked him and ignored the warning, a few years on, look where we are. As the country breaks apart those in power get away with financial murder and condemn the rest of us to the agonising truth we cannot survive a recession this bad, and jobs are lost daily, when is it going to end, and how are we suppose to cope when our own Government wont even be straight with us.
