Many of you may have heard people saying “Pakistan is living its last days” or “Pakistan might get wiped off the map” – But do you really believe in it? Have you all really lost hope for our Pakistan?

Let me remind you of all the hard work and the countless sacrifices made to achieve this country. There is nothing wrong with Pakistan…the reason of its decline is our ignorance…instead of complaining, we should be trying to get rid of the problems.

Do you remember the American civil war? It lasted nearly 60 years…after that America started to become a superpower…so tell me…how long has it been since Pakistan was created? That’s right…only 62 years…so why loose hope so soon? When nothing has really happened. Look around you…towards Lebanon, and the once peaceful Iran…what do you see? They are all in much worst conditions than us…yet they are fighting. Our neighbors, the Afghani’s, never gave up hope…and they are still fighting. I received an SMS yesterday… study it carefully:

 “60 years back…there was a nation searching for a piece of land…Today there is a piece of land searching for a nation”

So why have we lost hope…huh? People complaint about load shedding…while they don’t even realize that they are the cause. If we try to conserve light…use energy savers instead of filament bulbs…don’t you think we will be helping to get rid of this load shedding? Did you know…if the Kalabagh Dam is build, the price of one unit will be just 0.07 rupees? So why can’t we build the Kalabagh Dam? We have man power…we have funds…so where’s the problem…?

So everyone who is reading this…everyone who has the heart of a Pakistani…everyone who wants to get rid of this problem… copy and paste it to every place you can…facebook…twitter…orkut…even print it and paste it on your school library!

Pakistan is our land…leaving it in its time of need is an act of cowardice…die for something rather then to live for nothing!
