Pakistan’s Role in Terror War: Matchless

Over a long period Pakistan is critized of allowing the terrorist activities in the world and operating terrorist base camps on her own soil but Pakistan proved it to be wrong by breaking a war against terrorism in Federally Administered Tribal Areas(FATA) but even then the world kept on pointing fingers at Pakistan. Thus Pakistan had to strengthen it’s war against terrorism and it probably strengthened its war against terrorism. Then the situation became more worse as the Taliban entered the Swat valley in northern areas. Pakistan tried to negotiate with Taliban but they deceived Pakistan in a number of agreement. As they did not fulfill their promises, it was necessary to start an operation in Swat also. Millions of people who were the residents of the beautiful Swat valley had to leave their houses unclosed only with their lives in hands. These people were helpless. Thus they required a lot of financial support and as they were emotionally hurt and were in a state of depression during Taliban rule in Swat. Therefore, it was also very necessary to emotionally strengthen them. Thus they were warmly welcomed by the residents of nearby cities and towns. Many NGO’s tried to help them financially by providing food, clothes and shelter in the form of camps. These NGO’s also operated relief camps in almost every city of Pakistan. Thus they collected a huge amount of money from the public as they were eager to help more and more. Moreover, millions of dollars were also recieved from the international community.

On the other hand Pakistani Military was fighting the terrorists on the fronts. It was a surprise for Pakistani military to see the Taliban armed with modern machinary and guns. However, due to the fact that Pakistani military is more corageous and brave than the Taliban or anyone else, it wiped off Taliban in a short period of time. Pakistan also raised the point that who is providing arms and ammunation to Taliban in a heavy quantity and how they are being provided to them. It is being suspected that India has a great hand in this matter as she was also proven for providing arms to LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) to cause terrorist activities in Sri Lanka.

Presently, the Pakistani military has almost wiped out the terrorist from the valley and the IDP’s are returning. Thus it is very necessary to rehabilitate these IDP’s and also rebuilt the damaged property in the area which had previously been the war zone. Here, financial support plays a very important role. The IDP’s, when look their damaged area, seem reminiscent. As these people are writhing, it is our duty to stabalize them physically and mentally. However, these people are ready to make efforts to help government to rebuilt the damaged property and so is the public of Pakistan.

On the other hand Pakistanis salute their military that have achieved their task in a very short time. Not only the Pakistanis but the foreigners also admire the bravery of the Pakistani military. The Chief of European Union Solana declared Pakistan’s war against terror as “Matchless” and said that European Union will urge the international community to help Pakistan in rehabilitating the IDP’s.

Therefore, I urge the International community to provide support to Pakistan because Pakistan is fighting against a global problem and wants to save world from a curse that can destroy peace and stability from each and every part of the world.
