Pigs at The Trough

Are you counting the days before the next Presidential election?  This flamboyant, rock-star, jet-setting, wannabe President is certainly taking the taxpayers money for granted.  His “I can do whatever I want because I am the President,” attitude is wearing rather thin. 

The trip to Copenhagen, Denmark is absolutely ridiculous.  His wife has done nothing since becoming the first lady, and his arrogance is overriding her abilities to take on the IOC without his interference.   The trip to Copenhagen is estimated to cost over 10-million taxpayer dollars.  Before he takes off on one of the Presidential jets, does he even give thought to the 500-million dollars in interest payments to foreign countries, paid daily? Perhaps if he stayed out of the air, we could close in on a few debts and pay on the principal.

Valarie Jarrett, Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey surely could bid for the Olympicsto come to Chicago.  If they can’t accomplish the task they went to Copenhagen to do, why does the Prez think he can do any better.  Perhaps he can make a different offer than the Golden Girls. In addition, Mayor Daley is in Copenhagen, he is the one who should be going before the IOC, after all, Chicago is his town.

Obama is neglecting the oath he stammered through when he was sworn into office.  He is leaving the “fox in the henhouse,” putting our country at risk.  His priorities are apparently askew.  Does he not realize there are foreign crisis that are at hand, and the safety of our country outweighs by far his appearance in Copenhagen.  However, one must consider his purpose for going in the first place.  The Puppet Masters in Chicago expect him to settle with the IOC and make sure Chicago is the next city for the Olympics.  Obama owes the Liberal businessmen, the Chicago Political Machine, the Mayor and ACORNin his hometown a return favor.  The pigs are waiting at the trough for the big feed to come in.  They will be full and fat if in fact the Olympics come to Chicago.  However, with Chicago running against Madrid, Tokyo, and Rio, the odds of Obama winning the deal- is slim.  If he can’t talk his way through the deal and the IOC selects another city, he will come home with his tail tucked between his legs and blame George Bush for his failure.

Michael Steel told reporters, “It is noble of Obama to go to Denmark on behalf of his native Chi-town, but he has other pressing business to attend to.”  Mr. Steel also stated, “The goal should be creating, not job opportunities seven years from now, but job opportunities today.”

Amen Mr. Steel on all counts, I empathetically agree.  General McCrystal has spoken to the President only once during his “rein”, Afghanistan should be at the top of the list for major problems needing his attention, and then of course, he could stay here in the States and push his Democratic Health Care Plan.

Obama was the first to complain when the CEO’s from General Motors showed up in their private jets, but sees nothing wrong with his frequent trips.  He took his wife to New York for Valentine’s Day and lavished her with an expensive meal  , and we have to remember he wanted his girls to see Camp David, so the family boarded the “Obama Family Jet”, and went to Camp David.  In February, one month after he took office, he waved at the cameras as he boarded one of the Presidential jets to go home to Chicago.  That same evening he returned to Washington DC to sign the Stimulus bill, re-boarded the plane and returned to Chicago at the tune of $246,908 per trip.

Yet this very President browbeats the Americans about our car emission.  Our cars emit too much carbon in the air, so we need to consider buying “green” cars.  Does those planes he jet sets around in not produce carbon?

At least three planes are used to make the trip to Copenhagen.  The Cargo plane that carries the Limo’s, the first lady’s plane and the one the President flies over in.  Of course, Oprah Winfrey and Valarie Jarrett will be treated as royalty when they de-board the Presidential plane.  Why is Oprah going?  Did he sneak her through the backdoor of the White House and appointed her a new position in the Czar kingdom?

Recalling some of the campaign speeches Mr. Obama gave his cheering crowd, one comes to mind about lobbying.  “I will not have lobbyist in my White House when I am President.”

Liar, Liar, pants on fire.  There Joe Wilson, I too called him a liar.  He lied when he said he would not have lobbyist.  He, himself is going to Denmark to lobby alongside Valarie Jarrett, who lobbied in the past for the Olympics to come to Chicago, and his wife is lobbying.  What else can we call him but a liar?

General McCrystal needs at least 40,000 troops sent to him immediately to fight the Taliban.  His request may or may not reach the President before he boards the plane for Copenhagen.  Priorities askew?  You betch’a!

We are being shown in detail exactly how the liberals and Democrats treat, and will continue treating the American people for as long as they are in office.  They all need to be voted out!

Obama’s obligations are to the American people for as long as 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is his address.  If he can’t handle the intelligence required, the exact decisions that must be made, and the heat that comes with the job, then my suggestion is, rent a U-Haul, load up and go back to Chicago.  Leaving the country in time of crisis shows his inability to run the country.  Discerning the oath he took to protect our safety, his shrewd decision is not for the American people in whole, but lays at the feet of the political pigs surrounding the trough in Chicago.
