Pregnant “Man”?

I am seriously tired of hearing about the pregnant “man”. If you haven’t heard of “him” then you must be deaf or don’t own a TV or radio. It is all the rage and everyone is talking about it. I honestly don’t know why because there is nothing all that fantastic about it. It actually disgusts me and makes me sick to my stomach.

If you seriously don’t know who this “guy” is then head on over to Google and do a search for Thomas Beatie. What you will discover is Thomas is not really a man. He is one of those trans-gendered type people. You know the ones, the people who feel like they were born the wrong sex. From what I understand about “his” particular situation is “he” was born a female and has had surgery to make him look like a man. “He” had his breasts removed and took testosterone treatments to grow facial hair and to develop something that resembles a penis. “He” has not had “his” lower lady parts removed.

Apparently this “guy” is recognized by the government as being a male and is married to a real female. “His” wife is unable to have children so “he” quit taking testosterone and allowed “his” system to go back to normal. The first time “he” tried to get pregnant it failed in a tubal pregnancy resulting in “his” fallopian tubes to be removed. Obviously “his” second pregnancy is going well. Good for “him”…whatever.

This is wrong on many levels. I don’t care if the government recognizes “him” as a male. “He” was born a female and will always be female no matter how many surgeries “he” has and no matter how much wool “he” can pull over everyone’s eyes. It is a perversion of the truth and it is wrong. This shouldn’t be allowed but who am I to say what can and can’t be allowed. But from my personal perspective this is gross and disgusting.
Our world is screwed up enough. Now I have to explain to my children why a “man” is pregnant and answer all kinds of bizarre questions that children come up with. This totally distorts what has been traditionally held as the way things are. But times are changing. It is OK for men to dress as women. It is OK for people to have surgeries to change their sex. It is OK for gay couples to adopt children and in some cases have children. Whatever happened to being happy with who you are and accepting things at face value? I don’t need my sons and daughter growing up having to worry if the person they are dating is really the sex they claim to be.

A big WTF needs to be said. People all over the world are applauding this and watching over this perversion like it is the coolest thing since sliced bread. If you want to really see a pregnant man, go to the aquarium and look at some sea horses. It makes me sick because people need to be paying attention to what’s going on with more important things like the economy, soaring gas prices, and what our elected officials are doing. But oh no, the American people love to watch train wrecks like this and forget about what is really happening on the front pages of the news. Pregnant “men” and who got voted off American Idol are what people really care about. People make me sick and their utter stupidity makes me want to cry myself to sleep every night. But I digress and I am going off on a tangent.

Seriously people, pull your heads out of your collective asses.
