Imagine you and your family sitting in your home watching your favor television show. Then suddenly a voice is heard coming from a box inside your home installed by a government agency. “Warning! You have five minutes to turn up your thermostat, or we will charge you double for the current rate of use”.

President Barack Obama today March 26, 2009 in answering questions about the economy. A young lady asked President Barack Obama, “when are the jobs that when overseas are coming back so that those who are out of work can go back to work?”
President Barack Obama said, most of those jobs will not be coming back, and that those jobs that when overseas are not jobs that will enable one to make a living from.
Then President Barack Obama begins talking about the smart meter, and how these meters will help Americans. He also stated that there are not enough electricians, thus implying that everyone who is interested in finding a job need to go to school to become an electrician. Now that is to suggest: 1) That there are at the present time, not enough electricians. 2) That it would be necessary to run new wires for each home. and 3) That these jobs would be permanent and able to sustain everyone going off to school to become electricians.
A smart meter generally refers to a type of advanced meter (usually an electrical meter) that identifies consumption in more detail than a conventional meter; and optionally, but generally, communicates that information via some network back to the local utility for monitoring and billing purposes (telemetering).
What kind of intelligence is it that tries to spend ones self out of debt? If one is in credit card debt, does one continue to run up even more debt in order to get out of debt? The obvious answer is no! Yet, President Barack Obama thinks that it is a good idea. Furthermore, right now no one can give an account for all of the money that has been spent thus far.
As a result of all the spending the F.B.I. agents are finding themselves stretched thin.
Armed with that information our President still vows to spend more, with the goal expanding government. Like the fine job government is doing right now with social security, medicare and medicaid. If our government cannot run and fund these institutions, why should we trust them with anything else?
It is bad enough when one to go to the store trying to find products that are all natural without going though many that are artificial.
Artificial intelligence is not the answer, we do not need artificial intelligence to running our homes, and we do not need or want artificial intelligence to run our country.
Don’t be surprise if you find that G.E. heavily invested in smart technology. If you find that is the case, see if you can find the connection with President Barack Obama.

I enjoyed reading your article.
If he spends all that money there is no way taxes won’t go through the sky. He commented during the campaign that he thought money should be controlled from one place or something to that effect. The man is a socialist. The government gets all the money and siphons it back to us.
Personally, I like capitalism with all it’s faults. Much of creative thinking and medical advances were because of the rewards for it. People have jobs because the big guys started a business. Why should they do that if there are no rewards?
