Why abortion is wrong, being pro-life is important.
An abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus (Wikipedia). An abortion kills a fetus by horrible means. Some of these are suction aspiration, which sucks the baby through a tube, dilation and curettage (D&C), which is like suction aspiration but cuts the baby, Saline injections, and other gruesome methods (Lifesitenews).
The Catholic Church does not believe that the killing of innocent babies is right. Abortion violates the Commandment thou shall not kill. Catholics believe that all human life is sacred. “If a person’s right to life is violated at the moment in which he is first conceived in his mother’s womb, an indirect blow is struck also at the whole of the moral order,” said by Pope John Paul II (www.bbc.co.uk).
An alternative to abortion is adoption. Abortions have medical risks and it will haunt any mother for the rest of her life. Organizations like birthright, the nurturing network, and optionline (preistsforlife). Talking to a professional often helps set a mothers mind straight about what she is doing (alternatives) Services will provide mothers with baby food, clothes, and other necessities and the if the mother is in school she can continue her education (alternatives).
Abortion physically hurts the mother. Infections and internal bleeding can occur from abortions (The physical and spiritual effects). On extremely rare occasions, deaths can occur from abortions (The physical and spiritual effects). Having an abortion increases the chance to get breast cancer by 50% and having an abortion leads to pregnancy failures later in life (The physical and spiritual effects). Women are more likely to abuse alcohol and drugs if they have an abortion (The physical and spiritual effects).
Abortion can hurt a woman emotionally by the women knowing she took an innocent life. A woman must know when she takes a life because it is growing inside her. Women have thoughts of suicide after having an abortion (The physical and spiritual effects).
Women are hurt spiritually also when they have an abortion. A women becomes farther from God when she has an abortion because she is killing one of Gods children. She becomes farther away from Catholicism all together because abortion is against many principles of the religion.
I can help others to come to a pro-life way of thinking by alerting them of the dangers of abortion. The risks involved and the guilt of having an abortion influence many people. Killing a baby is very wrong to some people but some don’t realize that.
Currently there is a freedom of choice bill pending to become laws but no pro-life acts (Google). Barack Obama is pro choice. Ed Rendell is pro choice also. Right now the government is stronger pro choice than pro life. We can change this by electing pro life officials.

Bit slow there, aren’tcha? Abortion doesn’t cause health problems in the vast majority of cases. In fact it’s safer than carrying a pregnancy to term. Feel free to make arguments about your beliefs on the sanctity of life, but don’t spread misinformation about women’s health.
actually abortion does hurt women, especially when they know they killed an innocent life. i dont think you could live with yourself after u killed a baby.
