Race and Politics

 On an exclusive television interview with “Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams, former President Jimmy Carter said that most of the rebellious actions against President Obama are racism. But he wasn’t alone. Comic legend and activist Bill Cosby went on the record saying the same thing, and to no one’s suprise the right-wings agenda to dismantle the accusations. But even as if a former president and the voice for many African-Americans go off the wall, Mr. Obama has a different point of view. He states that the reason for so many going against his policies(especially the heated healthcare debate)he believes it is a mere matter of worry and fear of big government, and the use of taxpayer money. While i agree that is the case for some, we have to use our common sense. MOST OF IT IS RACISM. Why is President Obama ignoring the obvious?. It’s simple. He dosen’t want to upset the white man. President Barack Obama got great support from the white community, especially since his background had a role to play in it. He wants to satisfy the white community so he could keep the vote come election time, even if it means downplaying an obvious issue. For example, the Henry Louis- Gates situation. The police did “act stupidly”, but as soon as he said that his ratings went down. Why?. He wants to satisy the white voters and keep them in company. But let’s face it, white america dosen’t have to face the struggles us African Americans have to deal with. They never dealt with the extremity of racism, especially when it comes to the criminal justice system. Jon Burge anyone?. So to white america, there police is not racist, its not bad. Of course, its very easy to say that, especially if you never had to deal with the problems we have to deal with when it comes to us black americans. But when it comes to honesty, Carter is right, most of the angry white americans are racist and are going to use that hatred of a black to ensure their selfish desire, even if it means to recruit others. KKK version 2.0 people. WAKE THE HELL UP! I personally have heard stories of what happens at the town hall meetings, and most of them are racist, i could go on and on, but ill leave it at that. Like for example, the guy who bought a rifle to a town hall meeting, its so funny if a black guy did that he would be put under the jail. America needs to take their heads out of their asses, especially white america. Need i say more?.
