Ms. O’s husband is in trouble and she has agreed to come out of semi-retirement and serve on the front line.

As we all know Obama has been fighting for a stimulus package, which refuses to be neatly packaged. Opponents say it’s pork. Proponents say it’s not meaty enough. And I say, hey dude, where’s my bailout!

The numbers have been all over the place from $920 billion to $800 billion (though it could change again any moment). The latest is that one lawmaker thinks it should be $880 billion — specifically — I guess he needs to get a project through.

You can change the POTUS but you can’t change DC politics. From what I hear, the Republicans have been up to no good. The Washington Post reports that Obama has been courting the Repugs behind closed doors and they, in one solid bloc, voted against the measure. So much for bipartianship. So much for … nah, too early to go that far.

I’ve always seen Michelle and Barack as the perfect complements to each other and his willingness to call on her when he is in trouble shows that he highly respects her ability.

With that said, the people say, put on your dancing shoes Michelle. You are needed for the common good.
