Backing out of the war in Afghanistan.

   In short, Obama needs to convince the American people, that the war in Afghanistan is worth the cost.  With the growing strength of the Taliban and the growing fatalities of U.S. and allied troops. Pursuading the American people that he can support the Afghanistan wavering democracy and weak military.

  Allied support is even lower, due to the airstrike friday. Leaving a dozen Afghan civilians dead. The need for more troops, is now, more then ever needed. With Al Qaeda in pakistan, with the cross-border attacks made by the U.S.

  If there was a currupt election and President Karzai did get less then 50 percent, that will show in the recount. U.S. and all allied countries, should make sure this is done right. RETREAT is not an option!

  Assuming responsibility for issues ranging from security and governance, is greatly urged by NATO. Transitions in all areas, would be a clear step in the right direction. Showing the Afghan people and citizens of the troop-contributing countries, that this is getting us somewhere.

  The airstrike friday was said to have killed 90 people, coming at a time during intense debate over the Afghan war. America would lose this war if there was not a reduction in civilian casualities, the use of airstrike was severly restricted.

  Though with the amount of civilians near the site, was due to “free gas.” The tankers were stuck nowhere near any villiage, this was not an intentional killing of civilians. The use of airstrike is only to prevent U.S. and allied troop overrun.

This is the time for NATO and the Afghan people to come together.
