Is Barack Obama the antichrist figure mentioned in the bible? You be the judge!

Hello anyone who is interested.  I’ve decided to opine regularly on thoughts in my head regarding current events.  Tonight I have chosen the topic of Barack Obama.  Glad he’s president-elect, but I have to be honest.   I did not vote this election season.  I’m not that irresponsible; I’ve voted the past two election cycles, ever since I was 18.  However, this one struck me differently.  For one, I can’t remember a politician ever being deified, certainly to the extent that this 1st African American president was.  I mean, for heavensake, he a politician.  And if that’s not bad enough, he’s a liar, excuse me, lawyer.  These people, in my humble experience, tend to be far from God.  A side effect of the job choice.  Whatever.  It also struck me as interesting how unfair the race seemed to be.  By this I mean the whole thing was so lopsided.  It was stupifying to watch Joe and Jane pundit on television trying to keep the race interesting.  They kept saying that anything could happen in the end, but I think they were just trying to keep suspense so they can keep ratings on their wall to wall coverage up.  Or trying not to inhibit people from voting by admitting to the apparent landslide.  There are many other weird things about this historical race, but I’ll stop there.

Anyway, I felt I couldn’t vote for either candidate.  McCain because I thought his campaign sucked, and Obama because I didn’t want the sky to fall with me being the douchebag, along with most of you who flocked to support this guy!  No no.  I like to think I am no sheep.  Too many questionable things.  I know many, many African Americans, none have a name like Barack Hussein Obama.  None of them have such a mysterious name  in relation to our anti-Arab country (admit it, after 911, Middle Easterners have become the new black people!).  I can obviously look past this as well as his questionable associations that have been worked ad nauseum by the Republican party.  The thing that bothered me the most was his messianic message of hope.  He and his comrades sold hope to the weary like coke to crackheads.  Wild!  This situation reminds me of a quote which roughly intimated that the devil often uses hope to deceive.  I’m not saying our new president to be is the devil, but he did slang hope to all of us who appreciate the promise of a better day.  I pray he comes through.  I hope he will.
