I wrote a brief essay on rookie presidents and the pros and cons. It’s quite interesting.
Everyone is asking do young and less experienced presidents do better? Some say yes yet others say no. People have different thought and my essay will explain why with my opinion.
Some people say yes, look at Kennedy he was only 43and Bill Clinton was 46 when he became president. They were great and now here comes Barack Obama, will he be experienced enough? I say yes, because if he can fight through the party nomination he is experienced enough to do anything. But many of these youngsters only serve one term and then the next president comes.
Others say no to youngsters and rookies! They tell them to try again in ten years or so. Like Teddy Roosevelt people say he was great but his opponent would have been better. William McKinley was his opponent and Teddy won but William McKinley had more experienced and would have been the life saver of the future economical disaster that we are in now.
In conclusion I think rookies like Barack Obama do just fine as president. Even though people have different thought and ways we still elected many first timers and rookies.
