Saddleback Showdown Debate Review

The Saddleback debate on the 17 was beautiful. Simply a win for McCain supporters and I think a lot of people have found who their voting for. Obama on the other hand would have come out looking better if he just wouldn’t have showed at all.

The questions were newer and couldn’t have been better, more on morals then common politics. And the candidates both showed to have respect for the christen crowd though McCain talked to then and not to the host as Obama did.

The main question Obama dropped the ball on was, “When do you think a baby gets human rights?” and Obama replied, “I think that that question is above my pay grade.”

When McCain was asked the same question he then replied, “Conception.” Almost before the question was asked. (Keep in mind that the candidates couldn’t hear each other’s answers)

Who would have thought that the seventy plus year old would have beaten the forty plus year old in a debate? McCain fired up the crows wonderfully. Obama stuttered on almost every question and never really gave a direct answer. McCain was answering the questions so fast that the host sad, “you’re so fast maybe we should just play poker!” which I laughed at.

I can’t wait for the next debate.

McCain talked about his time in Vietnam as a prisoner of war and the story of how he adopted one of his daughters. Obama also talked about past stories and they were both asked three important people they would rely on if they were elected. Both gave good answers.

When asked if they would be willing to go against their own party for the good of the country McCain also did better as he’s seen as a maverick because he’s done that a lot in the past twenty years. Obama hasn’t once reached over the isle for the good of the country on not one time in his two years of experience.

Bottom line you have to see it to believe it. McCain vs. Obama in a debate on morals, and the republican beat the democrat? I was being sarcastic you know. McCain came out on top and if they agree to more then three debates then McCain has this election threw and threw.

I give the debate a10 out of 10 easily. Even if Obama would have done better then my guy, the questions were very good.
