Growing controversy over texting.
A growing debate over teens sending sexually explicit photos via cell phones has some asking whether the behavior is dangerous or simply a new form of teenage rebellion.
Sending nude photos via text messaging – often called “sexting” – has become a popular flirting technique among teens that some say can have adverse penalties.
In some cases teenagers are being charged with crimes and being registered as a sex offender , now i do believe there should be consequences to such potentially dangerous behavior, but when you hear sex offender you think of a horrible person doing horrid things not of a teenager making a silly mistake and sending a simple photo to a fellow student or friend.A case in California where a young man is now registered as a sex offender until hr is well in his forties has me appalled, people get away with crimes much worse than this some get caught and just walk away such as cases where a man will get caught drinking and driving and the judge chooses to let him free with probation shouldn’t he be registered as “i could have killed an innocent person”.
Many people believe it is the right move to make to send teens to jail, and be highly punished, but i on the other hand believe we are exaggerating and forgetting we were once young and lustful.
