Should Marijuana be Legalized in California?

As you have probably heard Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has proposed that the state government legalize marijuana and place a tax on its sale and purchase to help ease the aching economy and help with the big big deficit that we are facing now. I think yes weed should be legalized because they make money and people are happy I have lived previously in areas like South Central, Compton, Watts, Inglewood and project areas in Los Angeles County and have seen that the people there smoke lots of marijuana and it would make the state lots of money and would be a good thing for the state.
