This article will give a little information about the big three auto companies and how they expect to be bailed out. It will also add my opinion to the situation we are all talking about.

It has come to my attention, recently, that the three biggest car makers have asked the government for 15 billion dollars. (yes, that IS a ‘b’) to bail them out or they will go bankrupt.  It is all the talk on the 24 hours news stations.  THe governement is discussing ACTUALLY GIVING IT TO THEM!

Ford, GM and Chrysler should be taught a lesson in my opinion.

I read in the newspaper that the CEO’s of these three companies originally went to Washington on private jets that cost 20 thousand dollars round trip.  And I am sure they didn’t stay at a fleabag hotel, or ate at hamburger joints.  This time, the CEO’s are driving hybrid cars from Detroit to Washington.

It makes me wonder, if the public had not been so outraged at this, would they have gone back in their private jets?

If I start a business and it fails, do I expect the hard working American tax payer to bail me out? Of course not!

I wonder, if these CEOs can’t run the companies, why not get new ones?
