Stalking

As we have seen in the news, a man who stalked David Letterman escaped from jail. How was it possible ? Why was it so easy for this man to dupe the guards? Is it that they didn’t take him as a threat?

Celebrities are stalked everyday by the paparazzi . Some say that it’s different , it’s supposed to be news . When did seeing a celebrity eat, shop or live news?

So if a fan decides to follow and try to get into the celebrities home it’s ok for the paparazzi, why isn’t it ok for the fan? If a grown person is hiding in trees, driving around in his or her car to find his or her celebrity 24/7 and happens to make threats , bullies or blackmail the celebrity just as the paparazzi why is it called stalking?

And by the way, if these people have managers, publisher personal assistants, bodyguards and state of the art security systems, and live in multi-million dollars mansion, how in gods name do these people get so close? Food for thought people.

So if celebrities feel stalked by someone don’t be shy about going to the police and make sure the lawyers that work for you earn their pay by getting these people away from you and give them power of attorney ,so that you don’t have to appear in court , it’s like giving the stalker the ultimate fix to have you sit there and acknowledge them.

Some celebrity should make a petition to the courts or our government that exclude a celebrity to have to appear in court or have them do their deposition via closed circuit television for their own safety.
