The Holy War

In biblical terms, the war to end all wars will be a “holy war”.  Israel and Iran may be two of the most holiest lands in the world.  The Times of London reported that the Israeli military is preparing for an all out assault on nuclear sites in Iran. 

Israel has made the claim that Iran has been enriching uranium in an attempt to build a nuclear weapon.  Iran went on record saying they were only trying to get a nuclear power plant on line to provide electricity to it’s residents.  In Iran’s defense, the U.N. went in and investigated the nuclear facilities to support their position on nuclear power.

Israel has dismissed the findings of the U.N., and continued their weapons of mass destruction rhetoric.  The same rhetoric President George. W. Bush used to invade Iraq only to find no weapons actually existed.  Another sovereign nation could be invaded under the guise of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction.  We’ve seen this story play out before, and it’s not good.

Only this time, it won’t be the same.  If Iran was to retaliate, Israel is poised to send nuclear weapons into Iran.  That’s right, as Israel tries to criticize Iran for enriching uranium, Israel possesses nuclear weapons themselves. 

This could very well be the Franz Ferdinand of WWI, or the Poland invasion of WWII.  The Muslim community around the world will not tolerate the death of anymore of it’s people.  American allies like Saudi Arabia and India could turn their back to the United States as it funds the actions of Israel.

The bully of the Middle East may get a taste of it’s own medicine if it continues to make idle threats.  Iran isn’t Gaza, and they will strike back in full force.  Possibly coupled with other Islamic countries that have had enough.
