If you are a power hungry leader determined to play your game outside the constitution, then any act of unconstitutionality against you is the work of God. Zelaya is a bad political example and the Honduras people should banish him forever.

I would like to hilariously applaud the Military in Honduras for removing perverts of the Constitution Like former President Zelaya who having seen the constitutional end of his presidential term draw near, suddenly embarked on a spirited attempt at twisting the constitution to continue  his tenure as Presiden indefnitely.

People who act like Zelaya are power hungry individuals who should not simply be sent to exile, but killed by public execution, preferably by shooting them against the wall of Parliament. Let there be no peace talks with such fools and the military here should not waver no matter what the big powers around their tiny nation say!

For along time, I thought this disease was exclusively cultured in Africa because, there have been a host of African leaders who came to power via the gun, removed leaders they called “dictators” whom they blamed for over staying in power and promised to rule the country according to the constitution only to exhaust their term limits and turn around to work out ways of amending the constitution so that they are made to rule their countries for life! You don’t need to go to google search engine to find such African leader, the continent is awash with them, Muammar Gadafi, Mugabe, Museveni, Mwai, Maluzi, Mubarak, Melez, Mubutu, Moi and many others.

Only recently, the President of Niger, Muamadhu Tajan woke up one morning and started calling the country’s constitution a “bad” document that should be amended to give him limitless tenure of rule. When he couldn’t have his way because of serious opposition from other arms of government,  the Parliament and the Judiciary, he promptly declared a state of emergency, dissolved Parliament and the courts of land, claiming that the independence of Niger was threatened…. how laughable!! Today he is ruling that country by decree and by his convenience.

These kinds of limitless desire to rule a country till death is obviously an abuse of office, which countries that hold democratic principles should condemn and criminalize. In the powerful ancient states of West Africa like Dahomey or Ashanti, even absolute Kings were subjected to the state constitution. Any King who abused power in the State of Dahomey in the medieval times would be condemned and forced by the Council of Elders to commit suicide! People who betray public trust like Zelaya deserve more serious punishments than merely sending them to exile.

Therefore, when I hear leaders such as Chavez condemning the action of the military in Honduras, I know he is throwing his weight behind a bird of the same feather-he is a consumate blue eyed dictator who has abused and manipulated the constitution of Venezuela to prolong his tenure of office as President. What has surprised me however, is the condemnation of the Military coup by Obama! I don’t know whether President Obama has been properly debriefed on the Honduras crisis because if he was, I believe he would have seen the bare commonsense in the actions of the Army to storm the Presidential palace, arrest President Zelaya, and send him to exile. We don’t need leaders like Zelaya on the face of the earth, sending them to exile alive is a gesture of leniency, because, the normal action should have been having him arrested and immediately sentenced to death by public execution to send a clear message to leaders who may approach politics with similar ambitions of violating the constitution of the land.

May I take this opportunity to thank the Honduras commanders who ordered the take over of power from dictator  Zelaya. They are heroes of democracy who are well versed with the rule of law as was seen by their action to hand over power to the Speaker according to the Constitution. I know, within a given time frame, there will be a general elections to sort out the mess invited upon the country by greedy dictators like Zelaya.

Honduras people should not be threatened by Venezuela or the US! The US preaches democracy with double standards. I wish Obama could avoid these double standards and prove to us that he is different from past American leaders like George Bush. I keep wondering, would the American people, the CIA, the FBI, the Pentagon the House of Representatives and the Senate sit on their laurels and just watch  If Obama woke up one morning and embarked on unconstitutional  means to extend his term of office?  I urge all Honduras people to give no space to Zelaya if he returned from exile where he seems to planning a counter diplomatic coup. Send him to his grave because the world is better off without people like him.

Those of us who live in Africa under such ignoble abuse now suffer because we allowed the disease to grow into a progressive cancer which not even our best political Doctors can prescribe intervention. Africa has been a continent where everything irregular has been allowed to go on-slavery, colonialism, exploitation, corruption, coups, pariah leaders, Darfur, Somalia, name it- I don’t want you the Honduras people to carry our burden of unconstitutionality and suffering. Stick to your guns and Kill Zelaya if he returns to your country so that others who have his mindset will rethink their actions before they abuse your national constitution.
