Opinionated of the things going on in Iran and the voting crisis.
Good afternoon people. Just some thoughts and feelings in regards to this voting crisis in Iran. Its crazy how the whole nuclear concept has kind of just been a distant thought when you hear the word “Iran”. For the past few days as many of you know, there has been nothing but turmoil and wretchedness throughout that land. The Neda story was just sad. Remember when the U.S. went through stuff of that nature? I guess every country that is not modernized will go through this. Females in Iran get no respect. Now there is a woman’s movement going on for equal opportunity. The people need to be heard and no matter how quiet the protesting is, its one loud sound to the government there. All those pictures of people flooding the streets on a daily basis is crazy. I think some people like to hold onto that “divine power” type of feeling, hence the re-elected president over there. Its insane that controlled votes are done in order to “feel” controlling.
That picture of Neda runs through my head often now. CNN scrolled that video like crazy. It has no choice now but to be a signature of power in numbers. She wasn’t even a part of the chaotic crew. She was a peaceful young lady who was with her teacher and the car broke down so they was outside then BAM! Shot. Falls back and with assistance laid on her back. Oblivious as to what just happened since it was so fast. Heart racing from adrenaline. Pain begins to kick in. Faster breathing. Looking around to find field of intense stares. Mobile cameras pointed. Cant even contain the seeping of life just flowing away. Eyes rolled in the back of her head. Moments later blood pulsing from her mouth. Nose. Just fading away from the sounds of gunshots. Sounds of angry people who only wanted to be heard but instead are sniped. What a way to go. Oh boy…
Now the President is being harassed as to why he is not retaliating for it. Ridiculous. We are in one of the worst recessions as far as a country, a nation is concerned. President Obama is doing what he can to try to lead us back to financial stability and people are egging him on to deploy some type of U.S. power to control that. What they fail to realize or remember rather is that he is the President of the United States of America. We have problems over here as well. Not belittling the situations going on in the Iranian communities and streets, but that is not going to allow us monetary flowstreams again. President Obama did the best he could do in speaking out to the people. Not telling the leader to tell your people this. No…. that would not be most effective. Far from it. Where is there justice if there cannot be peace?
I support the non-meddling behaviors of the President. He even focused on finding ways not to be interested in Iran’s natural resources with speeches in regards to in using going green. Solar, wind, ie. This is a man of change but not an “ex” change factor. I send my prayers out to the families of the stricken in those streets of chaos. Its like the holocaust all over again but this time we have twitter and facebook to keep the world aware of whats going on. Only thing that is keeping their voices heard and their heads held up high.
Thank you for taking the time out to hear or read what I thought and feel. I appreciate it.
