The Pledge of Allegiance

            The Pledge of Allegiance, means something different to some; but I know what it means to me, as a Proud American, my allegiance it to the United States of America, giving my dedication to this great country; which seems to have started to degenerate from the inside out. There are many people who would like nothing better than to see this country fail, and I am not talking about foreigners, I am talking about a large group of Americans, their Allegiance has been misplaced.

            Our Allegiance is to the Flag, which represents our loyalty to our country. It represents the soldiers who fought for our freedom, which has united us as ONE NATION, which today presently consist of 50 States.

            We are to be a Country “ And to the Republic”; where we are given the rights to choose our leader to govern this nation. The government is supposed to represent and support the wishes of the people, not the other way around. Unfortunately that is not what is occurring here, the government seems to want to run and control our everyday lives, taxing us to the point of poverty.

            We are to be One Nation under God, with the blessing of our many religions, where we are not to be divided, Indivisible. Look around we are divided not only by racism, but religions, beliefs, and government parties. We have that right to be different, but it does not mean to hurt others, and twist words, and take away liberties.

            With Liberty and Justice, very simply put means to have freedom without fear, while being treated with equality. FOR ALL!
